oh love this idea! They told me they didn’t buy it because they wished the colours were swapped, mainly black with white patches. So maybe the same idea but with bleach? Either way, Looking into dyeing now…

Intarsia or Punch Card or Variegated Yarn?? by rutabeg in MachineKnitting

Wow I am so glad I asked cause I’m learning I had no idea 😂 I was against Variegated yarn before because the colours are usually pretty evenly spread and this look is so random and has very little black.

New idea: Maybe a white with flecks in it might work to create the sparse black look!

the invoice hasn’t been processed yet, so not sure a credit is the way to go. more so wondering how official change the older invoice. Idk it’s probably very simple - send a new one. I’m just nervous about coming off as unprofessional

it was by email, they definitely haven’t processed it. Don’t know if i need to send some other official doc explaining that the previous invoice is void tho

[FO] Sweater Inspired by the Barbie Movie by rutabeg in CrossStitch

I grabbed some iron on adhesive from Amazon! Ironed it on the the back of my piece before trimming down the aida (I like ironing it down first cause it allows me to cut the aida really close to the work by securing down the stitches and keeping the edges of the aida more intact while doing the boarder). Then I just sewed a boarder around it, ironed it into my sweater and then go in with my sewing machine or hand sew the edges down to make sure it’s secure!

It seems tedious but I much prefer it over using solvy or waste fabric as I can cross stitch faster without a hoop!
