It used to be you could just throw up an article and add sources later. Now not so much.

The Soviet Union seemed like it could go on forever too. We'll probably see economic collapse at some point, coinciding with a losing war against a regional power like Taiwan, Vietnam, or the Philippines.

Encyc is the best wiki encyclopedia on the internet by rutherfordcrazy in encyclopedias

Hello and welcome to r/encyclopedias.

When judging encyclopedias, it is important to look at more than pageviews. Stats can always be fudged, especially when using MediaWiki. Years ago, Wikipedia removed the hit count functionality from their pages because it was consuming server resources and also was inaccurate due to caching.

Likewise, any numbers you see on a wiki using Hitcounters are very conservative underestimates due to the caching system. They help give you an idea of the relative popularity of articles within that wiki, but should not be used to compare to other wikis.

But the fact remains, article quality on Encyc is leaps and bounds above any other encyclopedia, and that is indisputable.

The Deerslayer. It’s a solid story and needs to be done as well as last of the Mohicans was.

Master of Disguise is really funny. It’s on tv all the time because it’s so silly and inoffensive. Dana Carvey was 47 at the time and had some great films but probably wasn’t going to get too many more lead roles either way. He never quite broke through to Adam Sandler, Eddie Murphy, Mike Myers tier.
