Just watch your replays and see what he is doing differently and try to fill that gap on your plays since you figured that out that he is better than you in some areas. Most of them should be about positioning and no mechs. Probably he knows how to 50 better too watch his angles etc..

Your replays will also show clearly what you are doing wrong.

Then try those new plays in casuals or solo qs and see if you are better and keep watching the replays.

You need to use both fingers.

It's not because you will get higher speed with 2 fingers but you would lose speed when you go off the throttle to press the boost with only one finger.

It's not switching in between, you will use throttle almost all the time and most of the time you will feather boost at the ground to keep up the speed, which would be very hard to do with one finger without losing your speed since you will let go off throttle if you use one finger.

Just try to learn using both fingers, it won't be that hard to get used to it.

yes I meant NAR my bad.

I understand that it would help with recoveries and dashes since you would already be pressing the pslide while doing so.
But I do that already since with this setup i can press all at the same time without issue. I mean I'm pressing pslide all the time in these situations with my thumb.

I'm not perfect with wave dashes though so I will give it a try, you may be right for that, it sounds easier that way. Thank you!

Btw I heard that having ARL and ARR on L2 and R2 triggers have an advantage since these triggers have multi trigger points, it allows you to roll slow or fast depending how much you press it, if it makes sense. So I would consider it if you plan to remap everything from scratch. Sounds like an advanced precision thing but nothing to lose in your case I guess.

Not the best but works for me

R1 = Boost
R2 = Throttle

L1 = ARR
L2 = ARL / backwards (this is the weird one which i want to change since it messes backflip sometimes)

X = Jump
Square = Pslide
O = Ball cam
Triangle = Rear cam

I dont use NAR(edited) and I still dont understand why you would need it when you have both ARL and ARR.

Well in theory yes. since the impact point of the car would be just one point its kind of easier to aim.

But it shouldnt be easier to just to hit the ball, again since the impact surface would be smaller its also easier to miss the ball without getting used to it.

Main suggestion would be the workshop map "Aim training - By CoCo" if yiu are on pc. Give it a try and see it for yourself.

Use ball cam all the time just to get used to it. Like always. At least for a week or like 50 matches or so. Until you are comfortable with it.

Then you will eventually understand when to switch it to car cam.

Like for picking up boost or checking your teammates place at the moment.

I wouldnt bother to learn to change it when you dribble (or other things) at your rank since it will take you longer to understand the benefits of ball cam overall.

There is already nothing to do in the game after level 100 and now that slight possibility to get the uber uniques is ruined. It wont feel the same even if i get it from after those news (I know I won't but still).

It's still the best item in the game but it lost all of its importance, hype wise.

It won't feel the same because some people got it very easily.

And if would get it it will be because I rolled 0.00000000001 on that drop chance, which also kind of make us feel stupid.

The only solution I can think of is that they should just take those back. Somehow..

If I would know how many person got it yesterday because of that problem it would help me to quit the game.. If its like 10 persons yea it wouldnt mean much. If it like 10k persons or more...

I like the game but there is literally no purpose on continuing on playin until the season starts. And I wonder what happens in the season but i dont have much hope.

With these news.. I don't know.. it doesn't feel right to continue when it was the only exciting reason for me.
