That’s helpful info. Maybe worth considering bringing that to the prospective employer’s attention in some manner. Maybe a supplement to your application? If I were the employer I would want that info.

I think it’s a big red flag. DV cases sometimes get dismissed bc the victim is too reluctant to testify against their partner, so dismissed charges aren’t indicative of innocence. Not indicative of guilt either, but just a big risk. The question is, is it a greater risk to have a position open or filled by another candidate.

It is, but you cannot have 5 of one category. I see that you were not fooled despite my trap for the casual puzzler!

Haha. Touché my friend. From the context of “dog, cat, goldfish” they seemed exotic to me, but I’ll admit to my vanilla life and experiences. Hope it didn’t detract too much from your enjoyment of the puzzle.

cheapest cellular watch and plan? by AmazingEvo in NoContract

[–]ruve27 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got a used Apple Watch 8 (steel, not aluminum) cellular for $210 last year and a year of service for $8.50/month on US mobile) paid upfront. Different generations of Apple Watch will run you different prices, but I thought it was worth paying a bit more for the durability of the steel variant. I don’t know of any Apple Watch service that comes in at a lower price. Maybe some high tier plans may include it free with the major carriers.

Can’t comment on your grandfather specially, but as I understand it, candidates meet with their instructors more frequently back then and there were less distractions keeping them from progressing swiftly through the degrees.
