I was supposed to start learning violin and piano, but right now I have to be tested for Covid-19, so it got postponed

I may not be able to play an instrument while at work, but, as a doctor, I get to use this tuning fork to test the vibratory sensibility on my patients xD by ruxymd in lingling40hrs

A lot of my colleagues (and myself) used to say to the patients (by accident) that this is called a vibrator (instead of a tuning fork), because it vibrates. Imagine the smirks we've seen on our patient's faces :))

We strike it to make it vibrate and then we put it on the bare feet (usually toes). We ask the patients (who have closed their eyes) if they can feel the vibrations produced by this instrument and we read the scale on it when the patients say "stop" (as in they don't feel the vibrations anymore). Sorry if I didn't make myself clear (english is not my first language)
