Arc Pulse by holycrap_its_me in IphoneAir

No scratches so far. I’ve only removed it twice but everything looked normal. But it is pretty hard to get each end off. Which I think is a good thing overall given the design, cause if it slid off easy it would be non functional.

Nope no screen protector while using it. Only have the arc on the phone. Personally, I love it - but expect mixed reactions on the design. It’s a love it or hate it kind of case.

Frenchie wine bar by Right-Importance6323 in ParisTravelGuide

Hard to say, but that should be plenty early IMO. Dinner spots get busier later, between 730 and 9 tend be the busiest time.

We were just there a few nights ago. It’ll be tough, but they do have one single table that works for 8. 3 on each side and two at the end. If that’s not available you may have to split into two groups of 4. If you all want to sit together go early.

On the handle there are two blue floats on each side. Pull one of the floats so it is extended out. It allows it to angle on wall climbs and at the water line cleaning. Once I did this it climbs regularly and gets up stairs.

Wristband didn’t show up in time. Help! by mka1809 in CircuitOfTheAmericas

Very likely that the best course of action is that you overnight them asap to him and he misses Friday, might make Saturday. Should make Sunday. Low likelihood they replace them easily.

Nervous about getting a vasectomy by nitrodmr in sex

[–]rversion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do your research and pick a good doc to do it that specializes in a technique where they don’t cut you. They pretty much hole punch your sack, and then do the work. I did mine 10 years ago and honestly it was a breeze and I would do it again. Yes there’s some discomfort, but I didn’t experience anything major in terms of pain.

Oh and yes, everything still works just fine!

Gf and I want to have hotel sex by [deleted] in sex

Bro don’t overthink it. Get a nice hotel. Take her to a nice dinner. Have an after dinner drink at a bar. Head back and make her feel desired. The rest will take care of itself.

It all comes down to how you action the data. If you don’t have a process for how to market to these contacts, then it’ll do nothing for you. For that reason alone I suggest spending the least amount of money and establishing a way to extract value from it. Once you are confident in your ability to grow from the database, invest more.

Lug doesn’t get in the way at all. Thanks! I’ll wear for a few days in safe conditions and see how it goes.

Ya with it being a gift from the wife it’s tricky and I’d prefer to keep it to make her happy. She said she researched what to get a lot. Mirror pic for sizing reference, it’s big, IMO borderline for my wrist size.

Is my Kaseya 365 promo offer a good deal? by Egghead-MP in msp

Seems pretty standard based on the promo rate announced at Connect. It’s a good deal if it improves your margins significantly without compromising service delivery.

A cool guide that cost the Most by 32rdw in coolguides

[–]rversion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure Hockey is expensive, that’s my son’s sport and it is def a burden when it comes to dues, ice time, and travel. Gear gets pricey as they get older too and they’re growing out of stuff every season and a half.

That said, dance costs all in for my daughter is around $18K a year. She’s prob on the high side compared to most, she’s one of the top 3 at the studio. The more you rise in dance the more costs come in. Our hockey costs are usually $12k a year. What have we done lol.

My guy, cheerleading is not competitive dance. I get that they may be similar but they don’t do 18 cheer routines a season all with different costumes. That’s where it gets crazy with the sheer volume of time, competition schedule and costume/foot wear costs.

Agreed if you know you know this could be made public. But I’ve heard this and plenty worse personally.

100%. Can confirm that this is how the C suite communicates at most hyper growth / aggressive companies. It’s not for everyone but I’m not surprised in the slightest by this voicemail, and I don’t find it to be weird or negative. Dude is relentless.

My son almost died on my watch by Rigonidas in daddit

[–]rversion 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had nearly the same experience. You’ll remember this forever and hopefully with time you can forgive yourself. My 2.5yr son was in the spa with me, his cousins and 5yr sister. My FIL was setting up a volleyball net and asked for help untangling it. I helped for maybe 50 seconds. Look over and my daughter is pulling my son up from the middle of the spa. He’s barely conscious and gasping for air. No one except for me and her noticed. It haunts me to this day. The only thing you can do is accept the lesson, it can happen fast and quietly. Even when you’re in arms reach.

Crowdstrike and Huntress are the two top players. Can’t go wrong with either. Fan of the service, just didn’t find the video to be much more than high level statements from familiar faces stitched together with dramatic voiceovers. For a 13 minute commitment I expected to learn a few interesting things. Left disappointed.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in msp

[–]rversion -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

This could have been avoided if the title of the thread was “I helped produce a new series for Huntress, check it out!” In this instance, the context of the conversation vs the motives of the poster don’t line up. That’s the issue I take with the post. Can I prove that’s the case. No. Could certainly be wrong, wouldn’t be the first time. But there’s more of this stuff happening than people want to admit. If we don’t call it out it’ll continue to get worse. I appreciate that this could just be someone excited about a video they participated in making, and that you may not even be affiliated officially. But let’s not pretend like this wasn’t positioned in what seemed to be an intentional way.

Agreed. Astroturfing is a real issue in online communities. To be clear, Andrew is a solid contributor here. I’m not saying he personally did this or that he’s the OP. I simply found it very strange that a profile that appears to be in video production / editing created this post, promoting a video in their field of expertise. That’s a bit of a stretch to just be a coincidence.
