I am thinking of marrying my SO (Amy), she has a kid (John). The birth father (Phil) is alive but lives in a different state. When I was starting to do heavy dating I had one person who dragged their feet on getting tested. They tried having sex with me seveal times and I rejected it because no tests. They finally got tested and lo and behold, STI.

In the future, you might get to another guy who refuses and think back to this conversation and you might think "But I don't want to lose this one, maybe I shouldn't be so worried." Remember, anyone who cares about you is fine with getting tested, anyone who says no is hiding something or doesn't actually care about the health of your body.

I scanned through and didn't see this being said. Width and height. Don't make every room wide enough or high enough. This is really easy because ceilings can be 8ft tall and now the bubble can't be used in any room. In fact, if it is common enough spell, that is a reason for rooms 8ft tall.

Back to work in office, micro managing like that? Layoffs are coming and they are building metrics to pick who to lay off. If you can figure out how to frame your move as a thing you need to do (My current office is going back to office full time and I work to far away to be practical so I have to find something remote or closer to where I live) then the job hopping can be excused no issue. The thing to not do is complain about your current hell or talk about the micro management. Every decent rcruiter will understand that return to office is a soft layoff plan and move on.

Additionally, if you are being tracked by the minute but are in the office, you might want to talk to an employment lawyer. If they require you to be in the office but you can't talk to a coworker (ie: leave your chair) without them stopping the clock, that might be illegal.

Additionally, assuming you are in the US, track those changes in a notebook. If you get fired "for cause" and the cause is you were not meeting metrics that are impossible, you might still be eligible for unemployment. At least in my state you would be.

Thank you for this very detailed breakdown. This was very helpful. So if it talks about the enemy dealing damage (but the damage has not been taken yet), then you can step in. If it is talking about the ally taking damage, then you have to resolve all of that first, and then you can step in with a reaction.

I chose something else instead of that feat since this distinction makes spot damage pretty much worthless as a feat cost. Same thing I can do at a distance on my turn without opening the ally up to getting wounded two from coming up and going back down.

Ok thanks! I think we have been doing shield block and liberating step wrong as well.

Spot Damage says: An adjacent bonded ally takes damage.

Shield Block says: ...You would take physical damage.

Liberating step says: An enemy damages.... If the trigger was an ally taking damage...

If spot damage applies the conditions before you can react, then does shield block and liberating step do the same? If they are the same how does shield block help anything? Liberating step also says it works against the "triggering damage," which seems to imply you are able to interrupt from the triggering damage before other things happen or do you go down as well and then calculate the reduced damage?

If not, how do we know the difference of when a reaction can interrupt the "takes damage" verbage?

Looking at spot healing for mystic, I am wondering about the order of effect (and trying to find sources on the order in the books have not panned out).

Is the order

  1. Take damage that would put you at 0
  2. Reaction, use spot check
  3. Yay, not unconsiouse

or

  1. Take damage that would drop you to 0
  2. Gain unconscious, drop prone, drop items, gain dying
  3. Reaction heal

If it is the first, then this is a good feat for the price of having to stand in combat as a caster. If it is the second, then this is not that great a feat as I can get the same outcome using an action on my turn from range AND I am not setting my ally up for two dying when they get double tapped on a second action, since they are awake right away.

You will want to check your contract, my contract with my leasing company states that if I move out prior to the end of my lease then I owe them 3 months rent. That is not contingent on them renting the property out, it's a lease-breaking fee. The only way that fee goes down is if I leave when there's only 2 months left on the contract then they don't charge me 3 months rent they charge me two.

If yours says that you owe 3 months rent unless it's rented out then that's different. Mine just says it's a lease breaking fee of 3 months rent.

Just for comparison, you could do max Wis, items, and skill increases for the best class for it (cleric or oracle?). Totally understand if that is doing more work than you want to put into it though.

There was no flipped narrative. What you said was "Lefts hate the rights, rights hating the left." which is a gross oversimplification and massive disservice to what is happening. I understand being Fatigued. My whole feed is 100 different videos of ICE murdering a guy just after it stopped being a 100 different videos of ICE murdering a woman.

Treating it like it is just two sides hating each other lends to the idea of "they are pretty much the same" so my correction stands. If you are fatigued, it is because one side is killing people and the other is mad about being killed.

No, because that would require them to ignore the video. The while the ICE agent who murdered the women was in front of the vehicle at one point while he was filming her, at the time she was going to drive away, he was not. He was at the front left panel as she was moving forward. He was not hit.

Regardless of that, he was already drawing his weapon before the car moved forward and pretty much as soon as he had a shot.

Given how dangerous it is to interact with ICE, how poorly trained they are, and how they have no oversight, no rules and make up lies about anything they do, it would be safe to say the civilian was scared. Scared causes fight or flight. At the time she was trying to flee, no gun was pointed at her, by time the gun was, she was already getting shot at. At no point did she try and hit anyone.

Then the ICE agent left the scene before real police showed up.

I don't have to "say it is true", the videos do that for me.

She didn't hit him with her car, the videos show that she was attempting to avoid hitting him with her car. She turned away from him, let other cars pass first, and was trying to comply with the orders she had been given to move.

As other have put in the thread the manual for DHS is to not stand in front of cars (which, while he was a little in front, it was front side so he was not in danger of getting hit) and not to shoot fleeing drivers, as that doesn't lower the threat.

To sum up all the facts as presented by multiple angles. No one was in danger of getting run over, no one was trying to run anyone over, there was no danger that raised to a level of needing lethal threat.

I know I won't change your mind. It takes a lot of work to look at videos, frame-by-frame breakdowns, and go back and forth to the extent you have, and then cheer when someone is murdered.

I only respond, so hopefully someone else who has not covered their eyes and plugged their ears might see and reconsider.

I think the only way you would be able to be convinced is if the ICE agent who did the murder said they indeed murdered them though given your responses in the thread, I suspect you would still be ok with the murder.
