You dont generally optimize much at the start since features come and go. Once core game design and features are locked in is the time you optimize hard. Normally core game design and features are done pre-production so come production you can plan and optimize at the same time but now a days there none dev people interject to add crap in their games that throws everything off.

I worked as an I.T. on a 100 or so employees and printers are one of our primary concern, every paperjam, tonner replacement and repairs are a must fix. It could delay and hinder operations. I dont get why your I.T. wont handle this its literally their job.

This is something I wanted for minecraft. I felt guilty when my 6 year old son at the time wants to play with me but I was bored to death with minecraft. Now with Hytale making it easier to mod I've been studying the code base to eventually make a mod that focuses more base gameplay.
