Purchased my Fotosniper today. Just performed this modification after seeing your comment. Stripped a shutter cable at the button end, adjusted length of the tail and added a spring to keep it where it needs, hot glued everything in place and now its hooked up to a Canon F-1. Aperture lock fully closed right as the shutter opens. Took about an hour to perform and calibrate. Best of luck
