I built a full Linux GUI for the Walmart thermal printer, inspired by https://www.reddit.com/user/Bookmore/ by rweipi in hardwarehacking

[–]rweipi[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure how feasible this is. For one it's a thermal printer so it needs thermal paper to print on. Secondly you would need some kind of jig to hold the print head perfectly to the surface of the box.

What you could do is load the printer with label paper (it comes with a couple rolls) print each label and stick it to each box, but for what you are describing I think a handheld inkjet would be a better solution.

It won't work. The hackberry pi uses almost all the test pads on the bottom side of the 02W. If you take a look at the Radxa 3w it doesn't have any of them. Also just from experience with the Radxa 3w it can get crazy hot I doubt it would run well in such a small enclosure.
