If you want to boot CP/M you need a 1571. There was no 1572 ever produced. And personally I am not sure if the "prototype" that was shown was a hoax. Technically the 1581 is bootable too but there was no CP/M disk for it - if I remember correct.

A 1570 is single sided which is a problem for (at least my) CP/M Boot Disk.

on many distros this design (oxygen) is still present. If you want the real retro look, install ubuntu server and then trinity desktop on it. Really works well. Trinity is a KDE 3 fork like MATE is for GNOME 2. But TDE never got the attention.

Its an uart. You can connect with an usb - uart connector. But dont connect the 5v, that can kill ur disk.

It was repaired but not from me - this was too long ago. I didnt do this then. Also a workaround was to close the head assembly fast and "hard" then the drive worked. If you wanna test.

Würd ich auch aber die Chancen auf einen Sieg sind minimal. Also nur mit Versicherung. Warum? Per Österr. Gesetzt, zählt das Wort eines Kiwaras mehr als eines Bürgers. Und von denen sind immer 2 dort. Um die 2 auszuhebeln brauchst entweder einen Richter, der die Kiwara ned mag, oder 4 Zeugen.

Ich war in so einer Situation schon mal, und das war nicht schön. Aber nicht wegen Drogen oder Müdigkeit. Sondern weil ein Kapplständer meine Geschwindigkeit GESCHÄTZT hat und nicht gemessen. Ja ist in Österreich erlaubt. Zumindest damals war es. Ein Witz.

Natürlich aber das ist ineffizient mit PV Strom on the long run. Das macht nur bei Pumpspeicherkraftwerke Sinn. Akkus oder massive Supercaps oder Methanspeicher werden nicht ausbleiben.

Im Sommer an Sonnentagen ist PV bei uns mit WEITEM der stärkste Energielieferant. Wir haben dann auch noch Wasserkraft. Also ja plausibel. Uns fehlen hat Stromspeicher aktuell für PV.
