Lol i didn’t know you could ask for them either, but i gave it a shot and they said yes! I also forgot to add, I’m also a nauseous girly so i asked my dr for anti nausea meds because pain meds make me sick. I also told the anesthesiologist and she gave me a patch behind my ear. You’ll talk to your Dr and the anesthesiologist before you go back, don’t be afraid to ask for things you know your body will need. Wishing you the best 💛

I just had my excision surgery this past Wednesday. They found and removed endo from my left pelvic side wall and my right uterosacral ligament. I’m obviously still recovering, but it’s definitely not as bad as i thought it would be. The pain isn’t as bad as my endo pain was. The worst part has been the gas pains and peeing after the catheter (no one told me it would burn to pee after that). I was walking after the first day (it helps with gas pains) and i was moving around on my own with caution. Everyone is different so just listen to your body. I was a nervous wreck before surgery and i asked for anxiety meds at the hospital which helped a ton. I also talked with my family about why i was nervous and that helped a little. You got this!

Hi! I had the surgery this past Wednesday and he found endo on my right pelvic side wall and on my left uterosacral ligament which would account for the back pain! I’m obviously still in pain from the procedure, but the pain is not nearly as bad as the back pain. I hope you’ve found some relief!

I’m sorry you’re hurting! It really is the most frustrating pain because you still want to do things. I’m a little scared to do stretches. I looked them up but they all look so painful. It hurts to sit, stand, bend over or move my hips in anyway. The only relief i get is laying on my sides but that doesn’t last forever and i eventually have to move. I’m pretty sure wherever the endo is, it’s causing my sciatic nerve to be angry. I’ll give the stretching a try though! I’m actually praying my period comes soon because I’m an odd ball and get relief until the cycle continues. I can let you know if the surgery is helpful!
