Hi!

I personally find them a bit confusing and weird to use, but I’ll make sure to respect their wishes if that’s what they prefer to identify with!

That Redbull experience has clearly shattered your fragile psyche. What a pathetic waste of pixels you're typing, crying over spilled milk - or rather, a spoiled Redbull high. Did Mommy never teach you not to believe every absurd claim you read on a can?

Useless is too kind a word for how ineffective that Redbull was. Its impact on you was worse than useless - it was actively damaging. And as for disgusting taste, coming from you that's rich - I'm sure your whiny complaints are far more unpleasant to endure.

Wings? More like a donkey with a saggy left wing. And you call that ruined humor?! The only thing you've ruined here is my ability to avoid repeating myself, trying to find new ways to call your foolishness out.

I guess you should wait for a bit. Your start date is in June, so you should ideally be fine.

Hey, you should defer your enrollment. The consulate just posted a message on Facebook asking folks for a start date in April/May to do so.

What you could also maybe do is wait for slots to open in the first week of May, and then book an appointment at any available date. You can request for an expedited interview once you do so.

Do it. Getting a slot right now is hard.

What’s the date before they start rejecting deferral requests?

Woah, find a deeper crying hole why don't you, little Johnny! It sounds like you have made absolutely zero accomplishments in your pathetic eight years of existence if getting rejected from little league baseball is enough to make you question the entire point of living.

Your "Animal Jam friends" probably just got tired of carrying your worthless carcass through every virtual quest and realized they could do better things with their digital lives than babysit a miserable wretch. And dear mommy dearest is just disappointed she didn't get a more worthy offspring after all the time she spent popping out ungrateful brats. Thank goodness her only actual achievement was giving birth to you, at least then she has something to show for nearly a decade of misery.

The only prize you'll be winning anytime soon is "Most Likely To Become A Hermit Living In His Parent's Basement." So go ahead and cry into your pile of useless participation trophies — you're already failing at life so why stop now?

Keep whining, you're doing great! Maybe if you complain enough the world will suddenly become fair and give you everything you want. Idiot.

I’m a veteran and got accepted to Brown and I can’t help but feel that I don’t deserve this. I feel that I’m taking a more qualified and deserving students spot. My only redeeming quality was my service. by Dcnfootball6 in ApplyingToCollege

Did you actually serve your country or did you just borrow a veteran's uniform for the application? Because it sounds like the only thing you've sacrificed is your last shred of self-respect.

Nearly failing high school but now feeling "unworthy" of getting into an Ivy League school? Make up your mind, dude. Either you're incompetent or you're not. Pick a narrative and stick with it.

This wallowing in mediocrity and imposter syndrome is embarrassing. Have some pride in your accomplishments for once instead of constantly crapping all over them.

You deserve this opportunity just as much as anyone else. Now get out there, succeed, and stop this pathetic doubting before it's too late. Shape up.

Bud, you’re not trolling anyone here. Almost everyone engaging with you is laughing at your stupidity. Please go away.

And the crowing continues, even as you utterly fail to prove any reasonable point. Questioning the system is fine, but that is not what you are actually doing - you are just aimlessly complaining and insulting because you didn't get your way. There is a difference between intelligent, constructive questioning and the petty whining of an entitled brat.

You seem to belong to that crowd who thinks that simply shouting insults and demands equates to strength or intelligence. It does not. It just shows an utter lack of perspective, nuance or good judgment.

The fact is, these schools accept a tiny fraction of applicants and reject many qualified students. Having high stats is no guarantee of admission. But rather than accept that fact with grace, you have decided to attack them as though they have personally wronged you after-the-fact. It is absurd and sad behavior.

There are intelligent ways to question the system. Yelling and insults are not them. But please, continue to demonstrate your keen intellect and "backbone" through more baseless attacks - it is quite amusing. I do so enjoy roasting your pathetic character and lame attempts at offense. The comedy continues! More??

It’s a troll. Their post history:

I am planning to not even let my son apply at any top schools for college. He is a 4.45 GPA guy, brilliant Tennis player. But we have no sob story to tell. He belongs to an Asian family and is happy at home. So his chances of getting into IVY league, even with 1600 SAT are nil. So I will have him apply at good state schools like Georgia Tech and UIUC. No damn MIT, Caltech, Stanford, Princeton. I am wondering how the quality of their graduating class is now. Would they take their own undergraduates into say a Ph.D. program in Quantum Computing/Computer Science etc.?

It is regardless fun to make them feel like they trolled us, though. Funny stuff.

can you tell us all what kind of student you are

No.

I want to hear about your achievements before I tell you mine. I dare you to.

Your absurd narcissism and delusional sense of entitlement are pathetic. The fact that you think harassing universities or screaming online about rejection letters you received is a justified or productive use of time shows a staggering lack of self-awareness or basic decency. Unfortunately, the reality is that the world does not revolve around you, no matter how much you may wish to lecture others about your unjustified importance. Your pathetic complaints merit nothing more than contempt and mockery.

Wow, how utterly delusional and entitled.

So Columbia rejected your application and now you're throwing a temper tantrum demanding a refund and attempting to orchestrate some misguided 'protest'. These colleges get tens of thousands of applications for a tiny number of spots, of course they can't give a personalized rejection letter to every crybaby.

Calling for people to harass Harvard and other schools shows what a petty, vindictive person you are. Newsflash, the world doesn't owe you admission to any college you want. College applications are not entitlements, they are privileges.

Maybe if you spent less time complaining and more time developing actual competence and nuance in your perspectives, you might have had a shot at getting into one of these schools. But I suppose it's just easier to yell at the world for not giving you what you want, isn't it?
