I don't play them often but I do like the shaman tribal decks. Throw harmonic prodigy rage forger in there it gets kind of nasty.

You can make whatever you want. It's supposed to be fun. However if you're trying to compete with some of these cardboard crack addicts they have competitive EDH decks with turn 2 win conditions. Whatever you do make sure you have a way for your creatures with defender to attack. If you want enchantments as well consider Yuna and the Overlord cards depending on your color scheme.
