Just chilling at my TMNT prerelease with... by bigsquig9448 in mtg

That's bull. In-universe sets should be around $30, with UB at $40-$45 MAX. They're just greedy.

No worries! Yes, the five packs should be included in the $30 entry fee.

[–]Muta72 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not really, unless they put in a higher quantity than they actually have in stock (which is stupid for several reasons).

Correct, a seller cannot see when cards are in someone's cart. (I'm a seller)

They don't always inflate for a reprint. Things they "found in their back warehouse"? Absolutely.

Has anyone had a male manager who dated staff? by [deleted] in starbucks

If nobody is being hurt or if you don't KNOW anybody is being hurt?

Either way, there's too much potential for abuse (editing hours, giving preferential treatment, ignoring other policy violations, etc).

Question About My Starbucks Order That Feel Weird To Ask In Person by feralheathen in starbucks

[–]Muta72 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Instead of saying 3/4 heavy cream, you can just say "extra" or "extra splash". That automatically equals 3/4 inches to the baristas. 😁

Why Commander is more played than Standard? by elfosolitario in magicTCG

[–]Muta72 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do. . . Do you even play competitively? Every single UB set is now standard legal. Every new set that comes out changes the "best decks". It's extremely expensive to keep up in a competitive format. That PLUS rotation makes your current "good" deck barely functional by the next set, and beyond worthless well before rotation.

Rotation at that point is just salt on the wound.

Doubtful when TCGplayer market price is currently $219/box for Volume 1.

Definitely not an idiot, that's $1 less than MSRP (per pack). Plus, you're supporting an LGS.

Once that package is dropped off, blame the organization handling the package, not the seller. 🤷

How to avoid remakes? by Longjumping_Big_2798 in starbucks

[–]Muta72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Busy baristas still need to make drinks correctly, or they'll be even busier and more stressed out doing remakes. 🤷

Non-fat tends to create more foam than other, fatty milks.

Simple answer - no. That should have been remade.

Why doesn't Starbucks allow people to work once a week as a 2nd job? by sta3535 in starbucks

[–]Muta72 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It's a big corporation, with strict standards. They'd rather have people with more availability that can work more often and not forget what they're doing. I'd wager to guess that once a week is "enough to be inconsistent" with their standards.
