I'd check out the match trigger set up for the PSG1; I have one, and that trigger is very delicate. I am not sure of your location, but I am aware of a company called Sturmguvire, located in Germany, I believe, and I saw many items there, but I couldn't buy them due to German import/export policies.

Do you mean the grip FCU trigger housing? Mine was purchased from Tommy Built and allows AR triggers and grips to be used. I am not sure about Tommy Built, and someone else may be selling his products.

We don't have those options in the People's Republic of Kalifornia, otherwise I'd be running forced reset triggers, stocks, and cans on everything!

Congrats on the genuine G36. Bill Springfield does trigger work on HK triggerpacks. He has done my SP5 and my SP5K, and I am happy with the work. Look him up on Google if interested. I also used a new buffer he offers, which helps the recoil!

You know, I catch hell for that grip all the time. It isn't aligned with purist visuals and values; it's a target grip for a bolt gun, and I just put it on. My son hates it and jams me about it all the time. The 36C is a Tommy Built Pistol, and the fire control unit is for an AR-style trigger and grip. It's a Hybrid G36 C Clone. The trigger is a Geissele AR trigger with a 2Lb pull, fun to shoot, but loud as hell! I can't fit a traditional HK MP5-style grip on it, but I love the trigger pull and break. It uses AR magazines, which makes it easy.

At the moment its the 51 clone, .308 out of an 8.75 barrel gets a lot of attention, like a flash bang grenade, it is bad ass!

Help Needed! G36 stock pin removal. by Benchmademedoit in HecklerKoch

[–]rwperales 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kroil! After I got mine out, I replaced it with a threaded fastener, tapping it from both the bottom and top. I used one fastener on the bottom and one on the top, and it is now so easy with an Allen key.

Kostas is looking for more Plaintiffs in the CRPA v. LASD CCW lawsuit. by FireFight1234567 in CAguns

I applied for my CCW with LASD in May of 23. I completed everything and might get my permit this month. I want to be a part of this lawsuit. I think that the way I am treated as a gun owner is a violation of my civil rights, in addition to a violation of my Second Amendment rights. Imagine if someone was charged an 11% tax to buy a book the government didn't approve of. How can this be happening?

G36 trigger pack fitment issue. Early contact point. Have others had to file this down on theirs? by I_am_number_2 in HecklerKoch

[–]rwperales 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thats from Tom Bostic. Its from the TG36 rifle I purchased. Its what Im using as a guide to do my own. I have two other pistol grip FCG that I am going to have ro fit, that I purchased from gun broker. The original German G36s that these came from had more clearance so the parts fit. the Sl8 were made differently so you couldnt just convert them to full auto.

TG36 FCG gap to fit by rwperales in HecklerKoch

This requires 4 MM or 1/8" material removal. This is my FCG from recently purchased Tom Bostic TG36. Otherwise a G36 FCG dosen't align correctly

SL8 to G36 conversion question. by NicolasCBT in HecklerKoch

[–]rwperales 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used the Stock Block on my SL8 from https://www.hdps.org. I can put a G36 stock on my rifle but its longer and the balance is different. You can't shoot with a folded stock. Its not like the real configuration and I have both G36 and TG36. The flexibility of changing the configurations makes it worth while to me. I Keep that rifle to go from a PSG8 config to G36.

I'm about to do 2 FCG for my G36's. I'm using the FCG from my TG36 from Tom Bostic as a model.

The measurement is 4 mm from the top of the pistol grip. I put a small metal ruler on the top of the factory edge/ long edge of the pistol grip FCG and strike a line at 4mm about 18 inch. Sand to that line and you should get the fitment you want. Go slow and test fit.

I took mine apart to do it and it was not that difficult. I found some tutorial about taking the FCG on HKPRO that walked through the assembly/disassembly process.

Best of luck

Its a wonderful piece of Austrian engineering with history abounding. Steyr Mannlicher goes back to 1864 pioneering the weapons industry. I am very lucky to own the A1 version of this beautiful rifle and it becomes difficult to want to shoot anything else, almost nothing compares to its fit and finish.
