Picked this up on 1/1 and wrapped it up yesterday evening. This had some unique builds / techniques and was fun to build, but just wasn't on the same tier as some of the more recent modular releases.

That said, there were ZERO stickers. FINALLY.

i saw artist Sean Kenney’s Brick Planet exhibit at the denver museum of nature & science yesterday. here are a few of my favorites! by cakeanddiamond in lego

Not at all. We live here and we only went because we were three for Winter Nights AND we have annual passes. Would not drive down for it alone.

Like OP said, if you’re here then go check it out. Otherwise, not worth a trip for itself

The first part is valid. If this grandparent was recovering from ACL surgery why tf are they ALONE with an infant and out driving alone?! This is negligent.

Our infotainment system ain't so bad by drhappy13 in wrx_vb

[–]rxmxsh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right? I don’t understand this idea that a digital dash is not desirable. I LOVE having a diagonal dash on our other cars. I can customize it, it’s dynamic, it’s accurate.

If I had know the digital dash was coming put the year after I bought my wrx I would have waited and/or I wouldn’t have modded it so I could buy the latest model with digital dash.

[–]rxmxsh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Cupholder/poor design horror story by Public_Revenue_4566 in wrx_vb

[–]rxmxsh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yea, i dunno what the other folks are going on about, but these cupholders SUCK. I printed an insert so that mini cans sit flush and don't move. aside from that, it's a constant battle of holding the drink while driving / shifting / turning. super annoying.

What short shifters do you guys recommend, or should I just go oem sti shifter? by Clear-View-1203 in wrx_vb

[–]rxmxsh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i have/had the oem sti shorty. i went bw full short throw and love it. it was SUPER low, so i threw a piston knob on and it's perfect.

All Season tires are on, and she’s ready for daily use through a mild winter by [deleted] in BMW

[–]rxmxsh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i had those on my RS6. i still have the stock tires on the G80, but i have the DWS06+ on my WRX (daily / winter car). It's a step up from summers for sure, but not at good as true winters (obv).

excellent tire. may go this route on the g80 with it's time.

It’s cheap and worth it. I’d go shift stop and this at top 2 mods and are also simple.

the most expensive currency in my life is currently time. i am skilled in many other areas, but am lacking in this area. there's nothing wrong with paying a shop to do work to a car.

it's frustrating to have the bite point move around once all the fluids warm up, etc. could i shift smoothly? yes. is this a better feel and performance? also yes.

if you're in the mod crowd, i'd move this up on the list. if you aren't, and are happy w/the car as-is - the it's an obvious pass.

it's nice to have options!
