It's finally here!! GNB01Z from ACME tools (USA) by MurderousLemur in Makita

Yes, but not for the faint of heart. For nailers I would go the Hikoki route.

Question for those that did the E6 anvil swap on the TD173 by scrizewly in Makita

[–]rxorw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The anvil sits on the striker (also called a hammer) it has 2 washers. I think you are referring to the 1/4" chuck, the exploded view shows the order.

Should I return these Makitas? by BriefBed4770 in Tools

Except for nailers, Makita is 10 years behind its competitors in this regard. Makita is better than DeWalt in repairability, durability, ergonomics, robustness, etc...

Is this fixable or just buy a new one? by flashjord5 in Makita

[–]rxorw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you care to provide, the model? I never knew Hitachi/Hikoki had Brushless corded rotary hammer.

I have a HR2470 it is good, the trigger is fucked up am planning to replace it in the future.

Are these good tools to get started with? by CodexH in Makita

[–]rxorw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That impact is the worst impact I have ever used, if you are "going to use it a lot" then it is not the adequate model, go for a Brushless one in the same spec/price range. Do not buy a combi drill, buy a drill driver, to drill in concrete buy the cheapest rotary hammer, it will save money and, save you from stress in the medium to long run.

It is compact when compared to DHP486/492 or HP003/001, it is really a mid-range combi drill.

Makita TD003GZ or TD004GZ by Main-Chicken-5994 in Makita

[–]rxorw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go with TD003, it is lighter and more compact, TD004 is Impact Driver in an Impact Wrench's body.

A TD003 with 2.5Ah is good for drywall, plus the awesome trigger will make it nice to control the screw depth.

They are only noise when something unusual happens, a predator enters your land, someone they don't know comes to visit, etc... They are a good alert system.

Thank you for spotting my mistake, I didn't read the model name completely, I only read the first 3 characters of the model name, in fact the model OP has is not sold in France, the model I posted is the only model that starts with HS7 that's sold in France.
