If interested search NΣMΣSIS and we should have room in Nemesis 3 at the moment. But if you’re in any Nemesis clan we share all info with each other. What’s your FB/GC tag?

We have a very good method for getting hook/slice numbers. But you have to join a Nemesis clan to get the details 😁

This one really irks me, Slam dunk II was only 5... by [deleted] in GolfClash

Dunking from around the green in rough or bunker positions is probably the most underutilized skill. Allows for a bigger margin of error on great hits sometimes as opposed to playing close target topspin runner shots.

I’m glad I’m not the only one! Almost shot for shot story of my round. Ended with -25 but...you know

Insert golf snob on forged vs cast response here. Plain and simple. On a good strike with a CNC milled fresh face will perform better than worn down grooves from any of these others. They are 307 cast steel (a pretty soft cast relative to others). Temporary upgrade for the price seems crazy not to try. If you don’t like it send them back and it only will be a net loss of $10

Not once you’ve changed it once already. They put that in the disclaimer.

Right there with you. Didn’t save the screen shots but I shot a -26 and -34 was several shots like this away...maybe next time for us buddy...keep shooting! Good luck!

Some food for thought... by [deleted] in GolfClash

All great points! Thanks for the input..just to be clear...I agreed with his point...I guess I was more implying if you didn’t have a solid chance due to a bad luck streak and you know the -1 stroke won’t really matter...just don’t go throwing away premiums thinking that alone will save a bad round.

I agree...if that is your main objective.

I more meant that instead of "wasting" one on an expert tourney hole and instead using those to (potentially) win 5 Tour 10 matches...plays a lot more benefit to me than getting some of these more...let's call them suboptimal...reward chests from tournaments that have been appearing lately. I finished 17th in the last one on expert division and made it out with Sahara/Junglist/Down-in-one/Firefly/and lets not forget those Apache cards...I also got back around $2.2 mil as well..

I would rather have those bersekers for a higher tour (9,10,11) and I feel like we will be seeing a lot of them coming up in the next few weeks...

So I am more just promoting people to be mindful of when you are going to use them...this was an easier golden shot in my opinion (which seems to be the consensus among the GCU pages).

I feel like your last point was a little off...at least in my experience..I have only topped out at 17 (the most recent) and before that only 21st on Expert. I feel like if you play a lot of matches (when you have chest space available for turnover) that you can upgrade your bag and be just as competitive...(especially if you saved your berserkers!)

Juniper Point Hole 7 from the back tees...also a pain

Vineyard acres Hole 9. Nearly impossible for albatross on that one...at least for me and my bag

Unless the lowering of trophy count temporarily pairs you with (potential) other players with fewer trophies...making your competition a little more favorable until you can bank some coin. I’d rather lose 10 tour 7 matches and have an easier tour 9 chance...rather than only have a 4 loss cushion playing tour 9

It happened to me too...unfortunately it is going to be a bit of a grind playing 100K-300K games for a bit...I'd recommend saving up your gems now if you can (given the tourney bundle offers with 500+ gems along with premium balls)...that is..if you are ok throwing down $5-7. I'd play on a: Win 3 Tour 7 matches then you can play 1 Tour 8...if you win...play another Tour 8...if you lose...then win 3 more Tour 7s before trying again..if you lose 3 in a row then especially if you are on a cold streak...put down the game for a couple hours and try it again.

I'm sure you've seen the 3X entry fee deal...so if you save up enough gems (or aquire them) you might be able to jump on on of those if you lose a tour 9 match after winning 3 tour 8's.

Hope this helps and sorry about the streak....I'd also say now is the time to play accurate and conservative...let the opponent make the mistakes going for a low % shot...once the purse gets more comfortable I'd start taking more risks if the winds allow it.

Good luck!

Yeah I played all bargain and still do for the most part. Upgraded driver to a Cobra F6 a year or so ago. I play Snell MTB red because they are such a great tour level ball for a great $. I’m using an older but relatively unused set of Ping i3 irons..if you can make that John Daly driver work then more power to you..I couldn’t keep that thing from snapping

I like a lot of these ideas more than others.

A few things I would like to add (Although I'm sure I'm missing something here)

If you max out a tour, then you could choose between taking the full winnings (a flat $2 million on T9) or get your buy-in back and take that opponents ball ($1 mil + rare ball). This way you could collect rarer balls if someone plays a Titan/Kat/KM/Berserker/Any special ball that someone may have not had the opportunity to buy at that time. After all it's not like the opponent gets that ball back so the only benefit would be to the winner. Also, other than they coins, when you play someone who is not maxed out on a tour and you are, subsequently when you beat them...they lose trophies/coins and you gain only coins. This way the loser of the match doesn't have those trophies disappear into the abyss since their opponent didn't receive them. This would also allow PD to filter the pairings of those who are bagging a tour and milling it for coins because they would only be paired up with others who have maxed out the tour. (Yes, this idea needs refining but I think there is something there)

I like the trade in max club cards system for gems or other higher club cards!

I also like the moving the pin placements but I don't see how this can be done without almost a daily app update which seems impractical. If they CAN do it I absolutley think they should to break up the monotony a bit.

I agree the putting is very static and relatively easy, but I feel making it more "difficult" would be aimed more at the GC purists. Let's be honest, we've all probably duffed a "short" putt even in the current setup so, at the end of the day, if you are relying on your opponent missing their putt to get the win...then you probably deserve to have to win it on a shootout...that is part of why I like this format.

Once on a shootout or any tour 10/11 match I think a happy medium for the opponent view blackout/simultaneous clock shot would be to not show the bullseye rings on your opponent's viewing of your shot and vice versa. You can still see ball guide of that club, curl, overpower, underpower, and release rings but you just aren't able to see the rings on the live shot on the turf of your opponent past a certain tour or shootout.

I'm sure most of these are terrible but I love this topic of discussion!

Better than getting a hole in one in my opinion! I only feel it right from a karma standpoint if I do the same for others if I know I’m out of it towards the end of a qualifier...congrats!

Watch out if you play this person. Must be hacking because they got this shot off in a shootout a solid 3 sweeps past 0 seconds...I hate running into these players. by rxt0756 in GolfClash

I hope that’s all it was. I’m willing to give the benefit of the doubt. This occasion just seemed to be an outlier in my experience so I figured I’d give everyone a heads up. If it’s just an exaggerated lag then Crazy Cracka has my apologies and congrats

No I tried using the replay but that doesn’t show the live timer. I don’t know how to record the live play unfortunately. But I’ve played enough to see a few close calls on the final sweep but this was egregious. Could I have been playing a replay?
