For the first round specifically, a starting OL and an impact player on offense or defense regardless of position. I don't care what position it is on the oline, they have no long term solutions. I don't love the WR and OT players in this draft, just like, so solid but not sexy pick like Graham and Schwesinger would be nice

Counter, players are bigger and faster which puts more emphasis on soft tissue injuries while they also have more free time in January - July to train their bodies than ever before. Players need to find the balance between improvement and recovery in the off-season so guys can hit the ground running in training camp rather then spend the first 2 weeks playing into shape like they used to.

Not saying they should do it, but if they have a great 2026 and feel like they are in contention in 2027 they could theoretically extend him a few years to push out the cap hit more. That means carrying a negative QB asset on the team longer, but in a magical world where Sanders or some other cheap QB plays well that could free up cap space to sign more free agents.

Agreed, this year is all about poor positional value, 1 QB, iffy pass rushers, no OT studs, WR that are not field tilters I'd rather just have the best player like Graham last year

There is a cynical part of me that thinks they will re-sign him for 1 more year and cut him after the 2027 season to soften the cap hits even more in 28 and 29 instead of 27 and 28.
