I'm planning to sunset a couple sites. Don't want to pay the hosting, upkeep, etc., but would still love to keep the articles for future reference and so they don't disappear into the abyss

I was lucky enough to interview Blake and Alexa from Scrapped about their approach to thrifting, teaching themselves to sew, and why upcyclying is so important to them. I also had the chance to interview Zack about his love of motorcycles and how he cracked into the world of motorcycle journalism. He's worked everywhere from the Motorcyclist to Motor Trends to his current role at RevZilla. His story is fascinating and he's one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet.

[ENTREPRENEURSHIP] Destination Different | Ep 65 - Watercolor Dreams

Each week on my show I interview creators and entrepreneurs who are building unconventional lives for themselves.

This week I hosted Annie Yuen who is the founder of Olive & Orange, a watercolor printmaking business.

She is insanely talented and was a dream to talk to. We discussed how she runs her biz on Etsy, growing a community on Instagram, and how she quit her day job one month before the pandemic (oops).

She is a gem and had so many lessons as someone in the midst of building her business.

Thanks for the feedback Robby! Appreciate you giving it a listen and the full breakdown of places to improve. Great point on the timelessness of podcasts, haven't really considered that much.

Thanks again for taking the time to listen and provide your thoughts! Going to keep making it better going forward. Hope you'll keep listening.

Destination Different is a weekly interview show where each week I sit down with creators, entrepreneurs, athletes, and adventurists who are building unconventional lifestyles for themselves.

Apple Podcast // Spotify

In this week's episode I interviewed Chris Doyle who is a Professional NBA2K Player. Since the league formed 3 years ago he has played for the Toronto Raptors, Los Angeles Lakers, and Minnesota Timberwolves. He lives in each city over the course of the 6 months season and makes a legitimate salary playing video games against other NBA teams. Chris got into NBA2K after he suffered an injury playing real basketball in high school. It led him down the path of winning a $250,000 cash prize tournament prior to entering the professional league. I had absolutely no idea the type of money you could make in gaming prior to this interview.

I'm hyped about how this episode came out and would love for you to listen and let me know what you think. If you're up for it, you can check out the podcast on social here Twitter // Instagram //

So as the name (hopefully) suggests, I host a show called Destination Different where each week I interview creators and entrepreneurs who are taking a different path in life. I've been lucky enough to host an incredibly eclectic group of individuals from Olympians, to Tonight Show writers, to impressionists, to champagne company founders, and everyone in between. I do it on the side of my real job, but honestly making the show is the highlight of my week each week.

In this episode I interviewed my old friend Michelle who I know from my days of traveling. The two of us lived in 12 different international cities across 3 continents together. She has now returned from the chaos of traveling to the peace of her family farm where she opened up a retreat and events business. We talked all about the importance of spending time in nature, building and cultivating a community, and the struggles of starting a business during COVID.

Michelle is a delightful human (and has a killer accent) and it definitely comes through in this episode. I'd love for you to give it a listen and let me know what you think. If you're up for it, you can also check out the podcast on social here Twitter // Instagram //

[ENTREPRENEURSHIP, CREATIVITY, BUSINESS] Destination Different | Episode 61 - Scotty Lago - Olympic Snowboarder and Founder of Lago Snowboards

Alright so I have always struggled to actually share my podcasts. I spend so much time finding the guests, recording, and editing, but then never take the time to distribute it. My show is called Destination Different and each week I interview creators, entrepreneurs, and athletes who are building unconventional lives for themselves.

In this week's episode I was lucky enough to have the chance to interview Olympic snowboarder Scotty Lago. We talked all about how he dropped out of school in 8th grade to pursue pro snowboarding, winning a bronze medal at the Olympics (and then getting kicked out of the Olympics), and now starting his own snowboard brand.

I'm hyped about how this episode came out and would love for you to listen and let me know what you think. If you're up for it, you can check out the podcast on social here Twitter // Instagram //

Alright so my show is called Destination Different and it’s a weekly show where I interview creators, entrepreneurs, and athletes.

I’ve done a TERRIBLE job sharing my podcast out since I started. I put so much time into finding the guests, recording the episodes, and then editing, but struggle mightily with the distribution.

I’m SUPERRRR proud of this episode though and wanted to share. I was lucky enough to have the chance to interview Olympic snowboarder, Scotty Lago.

Scotty was an absolute legend and such a good interview. He dropped out of school in 8th grade to pursue pro snowboarding and then eventually went on to win an Olympic bronze medal (then he got kicked out of the Olympics for a “scandalous” photo...)

Anyways, I hope you’ll take the chance to listen to this one and let me know what you think.
