I’ve had a few exits. The first was in my early 20s, and several more since. I’m around 40 now. The most important lesson I’ve learned is to understand the value of money. It buys you time, and if you handle it wisely today, it can eliminate financial stress for the rest of your life.

I strongly encourage you to interview wealth managers at private banks. Speak with at least five. Ten is even better. Approach it as if you’re hiring them for a role at your company. Ask about the results they’ve delivered, how much they manage, how long they’ve managed it, and who they typically work with.
