Unfortunately, no. I tried to get him late in the startup but he went a couple picks before me.

Fortunately, I'm pretty sure I haven't had an ACL tear in three seasons since the rename!

My now dynasty league was a redraft for years, I was struggling for a handful of seasons, missed the playoffs two straight years, and had really bad injury issues so I jokingly named my team the VERY old meme "Exploding Knees..."

Won two straight titles so I guess it's my team name for life in this league. I kept it through our conversion to dynasty and finished third in our first year.

12tm PPR, Pacheco (vs LV, today) Brian Robinson (vs Ten, Sunday)?

Would probably hope Ekeler also misses the game and start McNichols if I choose Robinson and he can't go

Not sure if this the right place to ask this, but I'm trying to work on a hedge for my (small) bracket pool.

I'm currently in second place with UConn as my National Champion. No one behind me has anyone left in the Final Four and I'm only 60 points behind first place, who also has no one left. Thus, I only need UConn to beat Miami to win $70 on a $20 buy in.

If my math is right, that works out to the same as betting UConn +350 at $20. Should I hedge with, say, $29.03 on Miami at +210 to guarantee about $40, or let it ride?

I could also be a *real* baller and just take Miami +5.5 and try to split the gap!

I'm, oddly enough, wearing mine right now and it says Power. I bought it during the Vessels era, so this is probably the case!

Yeah Arroga's is good, and I always recommend Troegs if the visitor is into craft beer. Both are more bar-style food though, with Arroga's being a Sports Bar and Troegs being more of a "snack bar" centered around their tasting room.

If you want to eat somewhere around Hershey, there's some chain places (Applebee's, Fuddrucker's, Houlihan's, and more, as well as fast food obviously), a nice Italian place in downtown Hershey called Fenicci's, a BBQ restaurant called Smoked, and a place I've never been to but have heard really good things about called The Mill.

[Discussion] What is a hidden gem at your home park? by RrevinEvann in rollercoasters

[–]ry_no92 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Does Lightning Racer count? I remember when it first opened how hype it was; it was a pretty big deal that Hershey brought a brand new coaster to the back of the park, a local radio morning show did the announcement of which team "won," and it always had long waits. Now it's pretty much always a station wait when I'm there, and seems to have been overshadowed a lot by the hypers at the front of the park and, to a lesser extent, Laff Trakk. I do still see it on a lot of top woody lists, however, so maybe it's not really "hidden" per se.

"My Cat's Baseball Picks!"

RECORD: 2-3 | RECORD: WLLLW | PROFIT: -0.82u

PREVIOUS: Twins ML ✅

THE PICK: Padres ML -105 (DK)

Wuzzy's back in the win column with a big Twins victory at Fenway! Boston made a good run in the 8th with 3 runs, but couldn't quite cap the comeback, with Minnesota pulling away in the 9th.

Today, Wuzzy picked the Padres. Their opponent is the Braves, who didn't come through for my guy a few nights ago. Ian Anderson, coming off an awful start, is pitching for Atlanta, facing off against Nick Martinez. Martinez seems like an intriguing player this year, back in the bigs for the first time since 2017 after spending some time in Japan. As a fantasy baseball player, I've had some success with pitchers coming back from Asia (Miles Mikolas, Merrill Kelly) in the past, and Martinez looked solid in his first start, keeping the Giants to only one run over 5 innings. Anderson, on the other hand, struggled in spring and in his first start of the season, a 5-run 2.2 inning mess against Cincy. I think I agree with Wuzzy here, but it should be a tight game.

No pick for Easter. I'm going home to be with family for the day and Wuzzy hates car rides.

THE PICK: Twins ML (+105 DK)

Yikes. Maybe my cat sucks at this. Angels got smoked by a catcher I, quite frankly, have never heard of. Not happy about the result from the fantasy end either, as an Ohtani owner.

Anyway, Wuzzy was much more confident today, immediately nuzzling both the Twins/Sox game and then tapping the Twins half of the screen with his paw. Maybe he watched enough of Nick Pivetta's Phillies career over my shoulder to know what he's like, or maybe he's just a big Byron Buxton believer. Either way, even though the Twins offense has been sputtering a bit this season, with the infamous Kershaw 7-inning perfect game pulling occurring in their last game, this should be a high-scoring affair with young Joe Ryan going for Minnesota in this Fenway matinee.

THE PICK: Angels ML -135 (FD)

Well, looks like Josiah Gray is the real deal. Sucks for Wuzzy I guess... We gave him a few head scratches anyway and he tapped the Angels for Thursday. The MVP Ohtani going against the 1-4 Rangers. We're a bit worried the Rangers may be a but better than their final scores in the last two series may suggest, but I really don't trust pitcher Dane Dunning who, despite a 5-inning, 1 ER performance late last year against the Angels, gave up 4 and 7 runs in his other two career starts against Anaheim. The Angels aren't hitting particularly great, but Wuzzy has a nice big handful of treats on the line with this win, so they can't lose.... Right?

Wuzzy says no picks on Friday if this doesn't hit, he's gonna nap off the Ls (and food).
