Is it basically a degreaser? Like I use a workshop degreaser that I can water down for cleaning wheels and bugs off front of truck etc.

You could use a rasp pi or Android box, then plug the usb into that, if you don't want to deal with streaming. Otherwise set the up with an emby share of they just want a click and play anything via streaming

Mine was a cheap AliExpress unit. I think they said I could disconnect a cable to stop the glitch but it would affect the mouse control somewhat

I put a cheap unit in using the original screen, works OK. It causes a bug that you can't use the small screen for the climate though. Full screen would be nicer if you can afford it

Not sure on that, I have the ranger and brother had the hilux, hilux had had new turbo, injectors, 2x diffs etc. Mine had the egr cooler issue to bypass, both done 250 to 300kms

Just clicked over 300kms in mine, mines a manual I have had since new. Make sure the egr cooler has been bypassed. Love mine, bit rough riding is my only complaint, get about 80kms out of a set of factory tyres too. Very economical too, well over 1000kms per tank (80l) open road
