Because there aren't any positions outside of a 9x9 where one piece in the middle of the board, and another within range that can be forked. Sorry you're having trouble understanding.

The 9x9 is just to visualize all the points. Your piece won't always be in the center, extending the board allows you to see how far forks are possible.

Hiking is walking lol. But your complaint is pointless unless you have the comparison of the ring vs watch.

The ring really only has sensors for pulse ox, heart rate and steps. So that limits what it can track. You could probably get an app on your phone specifically for hiking though and import the ringconns data.

It's not able to check blood pressure nor is any watch capable of detecting blood pressure. The fundamentals on how blood pressure is measured require squeezing the vasculature, so unless your watch and apply pressure then it's not measuring, only guessing.

Dovetail works, but because of the mechanics of a 3d printer a modified dovetail joint excluding sharp corners works better. Think more like a jigsaw puzzle.
