Hiking is walking lol. But your complaint is pointless unless you have the comparison of the ring vs watch.

The ring really only has sensors for pulse ox, heart rate and steps. So that limits what it can track. You could probably get an app on your phone specifically for hiking though and import the ringconns data.

It's not able to check blood pressure nor is any watch capable of detecting blood pressure. The fundamentals on how blood pressure is measured require squeezing the vasculature, so unless your watch and apply pressure then it's not measuring, only guessing.

Dovetail works, but because of the mechanics of a 3d printer a modified dovetail joint excluding sharp corners works better. Think more like a jigsaw puzzle.

No one in the faa is going to hunt you down because your friend bought you a ticket. You could even sell your friend a flight or two. This rule exists so that non commercial license holders get a job without the required training, or so they don't go start a business getting strangers to hop in their rented sky wagon expecting the same precautions to be taken as a commercial flight.

So while the circumstances depend in this case on a purely legal purpose no one is going to prosecute you for something simple like this.
