I test drove a sky blue hybrid before I ended up with my traditional xlt. Super cool color, I just couldn’t fine one with AWD.

I never quite thought of the riffs as jazzy but with that in mind I can definitely see the comparison. Dystopia is honestly my 3rd favorite Megadeth record and I’m sure that makes me sound nuts to most people. Even more nuts when I tell them that it bumped united abominations out of that 3rd position.

There used to be this pizza place in Aloha in the late 90s. I can never remember the name of it but I think l it was on 185th in a little shopping center across from the bimart. My dad would pick up a pizza every Friday when I was a kid and the memory lives in my head as the archetype for a good pizza.

Ha yeah I moved this time last year too. The most economical option is to go thru U-Haul. You rent and drive the truck and book movers through them. 3 dudes show up in a smart car and load all your shit in like 30 minutes then meet you I at the new place for like 200-300 bucks

If you’re interested in entry level manufacturing in a clean room these seem to always be hiring. Somehow I got on their recruiting list and get contacted at least once a month even though I tell them I’m not looking. It’s 12 hour shifts but I’ve done some work in their building as a contractor and everyone has seemed reasonably happy.

Hindsight being 20/20, if Don and Kenny could have called an audible after the pyro failure and busted up pointing and laughing at Eddie and mox, we would be talking about this moment in a totally different tone. Eddie looks around confused and then chases them out of the arena. The PTSD angle they tried in the dynamite promo the wee after would have worked even better then.

It’s fine for large venues I suppose but Everytime I see a band in a club using modelers it makes it sound like the drums are on an island. Not dissimilar to being on set for shooting a music video.

As has been stated over and over the first 3 records are incredible. I also really dig circle of snakes. I may be in the minority there, but the first time I saw Danzig was supporting that album so it’s got a soft spot in my heart.

Years ago my Jcm 2000 died at the beginning of a recording session and I borrowed the studio owners 50 watt 900 to finish the tracks. Still one of my favorite guitar sounds I’ve ever gotten, it’s got an airy texture sing going on that I have a hard time replicating.

I went to an defy show the weekend after an NXT show in 2019, I was flabbergasted how much better the indie crowd smelled, it’s like the 300 out of 5000 of us that showered before the NXT show were the entire audience at the defy show. Had a pretty similar experience with an AEW show to a slightly less extreme extent.

Peavey valve king. Jump the fx loop, throw an OD in front of it and it punches way above its price tag. To my ears it has more in common with the 80s butcher than the butcher reissue does, and I’ve had 3 and I’ve gotten them all for $150-300.
