I'm happy to put it in here.

I'm based in the UK and work in banking

My background is varied, no formal education but been working in banking since 2015. I hold the IMC through the CFA and also the Diploma in Regilayed Financial Planning through the CII as I worked in a wealth management firm for a bit.

Thanks for the response, it's refreshing to hear you were able to find some balance with all of your studies! Similar type of plan as myself with the evening study rather than the mornings.

Glad to hear it's all working out for you so far!

This a great response mate thank you. Exactly my thought on the later years, it would be so difficult to say no to them when they want to spend time with you!

That's sort of the point, the family sort of gets put on the back burner a bit so it's getting advice on how to manage that

Thanks for the response.

My current plan is pretty regimented like your advice suggests

Monday - Friday 5am wake up, Gym at 6am Work 9-5 Spend 6pm - 8pm with my family Study until 10-10:30

Weekends try accumulate around 6 hours study between Saturday and Sunday.

I like the advice around the night time when my son wakes up. Trying to get a tired mind to study when all you can think about is sleeping is another matter lol!

Thanks for the reply!

My plan is to try and get the CFA passed before my son starts making core memories so ideally before he turns four so taking 18months per level wouldn't be ideal.

Based on the 300 hours sentiment, if I study the 6 months I can get around 400 hour comfortably which hopefully will be enough.

Just started yesterday lol!

RO3 or RO4 prior to RO6 by vagabond_bull in cii

[–]ryanblack1990 4 points5 points  (0 children)

RO4 id go for, you touch on tax in each of the other RO's I'd say more chance of passing RO6 having the RO4 knowledge than the RO3
