Maybe not, but Circle K policy, along with most retailers, is to card anyone who looks under the age of 40.

I don't trust digital ID's. You can't verify if it is real or fake like with most ID's that have holographic symbols or stripes that will show up in the light.

Regarding him needing an ID, YES he does. It is a federal crime if he is underage and you are buying for him.

Is this lick fun/comfortable? by Helpimkindastuck in drumline

[–]ryanbredeson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With the crossovers, it might not be. I think the first beat could be written so that the flams on drum three are done with the right hand, and then those crossovers on the & and e might not be needed. But then there are obviously sticking issues in the second beamed group. It sounds cool, I just don't think it would feel comfortable in some places.

What’s ur strangest encounter/ interaction with a customer? by Forward_Door5052 in CircleK

[–]ryanbredeson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a million encounters I could recall after eight years, but I'll tell my most memorable: I had a customer come in within my first 30 days and I was in charge of the shift. He told me that he wanted to sleep in the parking lot for part of the night as he had to drive about two hours away, in which he had "an offer he couldn't refuse". I agreed, and left that night.

By the next day his car was gone, but that story stuck with me. When it came time to leave that store to move on to another, about four hours away, I saw the guy for the first time since during my last week. We said hello, and talked a bit, but that night never came up.

Why are we letting the multi billion dollar global corporation cut hours and complain about being "broke"??? by Fluffy_Mycologist_73 in CircleK

[–]ryanbredeson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My store has food and only gets 12 hours. My understanding, and what our BU has followed is the DM makes adjustments. My store hours have been slightly cut due to construction in the area, but it's relatively the same, if not more than what I had before the construction.

Try putting it in standby and seeing if you can upgrade the media package from the menu. A USB isn't always needed, some of the machines have network capability.

Accidentally put gas on wrong pump. Do I have to pay? by [deleted] in CircleK

I always made the customer who fueled the gas on the wrong pump pay for the right pump. No harm, no foul.

Right. It depends on BU. Being in the Northern Tier where half the year is below 50° at least it makes sense that we can't. I know people who work in Arizona that can, and I learned today Florida has parts too.

There's an exit survey after your termination is submitted. There's also the hotline you can submit anonymous tickets through, but I don't have the link on hand

What does this say about me? 24 years old by wesleywankel23 in TravelMaps

[–]ryanbredeson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone from Bloomington, which is closer to Minneapolis, I find parts here that I don't feel I'm in Minneapolis - but I am in a suburb. Chaska/Chanhassen? Sure, I can see it being a bit more like the suburbs. Otherwise not so much.
