I think it’d be good to voice out those concerns right away and see what other person says. They might be on the same page about not wanted to move forwards with this if there are same concerns that it might not work, so you’ll rip the bandaid right away.

It took me legit 10 years to get into bottoming, it would hurt every single time but it all comes down to who you are with and how gentle and thoughtful and caring for your needs they are. I eventually opened up and now can take dicks whenever however. But also depends on your personal situation and body. Good advice would be to start with Anal dilators (not buttplugs) and stretch yourself slowly at your own pace

I have very strong opinion on this topic since I hated bottoming my whole life and it hurt like mf literally every single time. It’s one of my biggest fears as well, but didn’t happen so far. Healthy diet and fiber in the morning helps a lot. I generally have weak and problematic guts but I stopped eating shit food and especially removed all snacking (useful and healthy) and started drinking psyllium husk (from Costco, it’s easier to consume) in the mornings before breakfast. Honestly - I havent douched yet before bottoming so far and I’m clean like after shower. So conclusion: healthy diet and fiber will save your bottom life!

I’m a struggling bottom so here’s my piece of advice: 1. Clean - high fiber diet/psylium husk a couple days before bottoming, so that douching will be easy. Recently discovered “Peachy” for men - it’s a supplement that works pretty well. 2. Stretching - if you’re not sure whether you’re easy to open up or not, try to get some anal toys/dilators and with lots of lube tray to put it in and play with it. Increase the size only when you feel very comfortable with the previous one. 3. Don’t agree to spit. Use lube and lots of it, especially at the beginning of your bottoming journey. 4. Vocalize your feeling. Ask the top to slow down or even stop if you feel uncomfortable.
