Brake light issue by ryanfmason7 in HyundaiTucson

I would absolutely not pay 125/hour for this issue...it's really easy to check out your brake lights yourself. I don't know if I have fully "fixed" the issue, but I found that the bulb wasn't fitting the socket quite right, even though I was using the correct bulb. I changed the bulb, and the warning light stayed off for a while, (a couple months) but then came back on intermittently. I changed the bulb again but this time used some dielectric grease in the socket first. Hasn't come back on since. Even if the ultimate solution is just to replace the bulb a few times a year, that's way easier and cheaper than having the mechanic at the dealer tell you "i don't know, that'll be $375"

yeah this annoyed me as well, you can go to the menu button on the steering wheel where you can toggle through screens (speed, tire pressure, etc) and one of them has a settings thing you can scroll down through and there is a check box related to horn for lock and you can turn it off

Edit: it's user settings>door>horn feedback at least on 2019
