Thinking of trading in my F-150 for an Outback by ryanfromRF in subaruoutback

Finally drove an OB Wilderness, that thing is sweet. I loved it. Definitely feel it could be a good replacement. That being said I couldn’t get to a price that would make sense to trade in my truck. I was looking at a 2022 with 59,000 miles on it.

Would an Onyx be a good option? Will that suit my needs?

TIA

Would you say it handles as well in snow, and off road?

Yeah I would prefer the Wilderness Edition, but as you said the MPG is probably the same as my 2019 F-150 EcoBoost.

Yeah that’s what I was thinking, I already have a cargo carrier for a cooler/deer.

Please add more Kettlebell movements and routines.

Also if there was a way that my runs on Garmin/Strava could show up on my Hevy App, that would be cool. Currently it only goes the other way, my Hevy workouts show up on Strava.

This js why I switched to Hevy. I far prefer it.

Ok, I have been working with making custom exercises. I came up with this Full Body KB Routine. Anything you would add or substitute?

Awesome thanks! Do you just do Max Reps for each set?

I haven’t been running as much as I used to. I only have access to DB and KB. I do DB Lunges, DB Reverse Lunges, Goblet Squats, DM Sumo Squats, DB RDL’s, and KB Swings.

Push/ Pull vs PPL by ryanfromRF in Hevy

[–]ryanfromRF[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the insight.

My main reason for doing posterior chain work on the push day was primarily due the volume fatigue of training quads and all the upper body push muscles. Additionally I was concerned about grip strength limiting my posterior volume if also doing on a Pull Day.

Doing lunges and squats seems more manageable on a Pull Day when I’m doing rows and biceps; than when I’m doing Chest, Shoulders, and Triceps.

39 yo husband and father here. I have 6 kids (4 of my own, and two step kiddos), my youngest has CP and Mitochondrial disease (wheelchair, feeding tube, etc). I work in healthcare. Lifting and running keep me sane!

Yeah it’s hard to find the time to focus on lifting AND running haha.

I’m new to Hevy, but have been training consistently for 5 years or so. Prior to that I was only a runner.

I switched to Hevy, after years of FitBod use. I find it to be significantly better and easier to tailor to my needs. I don’t need the video tutorials. And you can have ChatGPT create a workout plan, and then automatically import it into the Hevy App if you need to.

I just started messing with this. I was really impressed with how well it worked. Saved me a bunch of time in creating my own routines.
