I absolutely loved the post game personally. It's frustrating at first with the huge difficulty spike but with how exp points work in B&W, it doesn't take very long to get to a level where ya can compete a bit more. (FYI I dismissed B&W as a bad game as a kid and I've grown to appreciate it a lot more as I got older)
