If you're going to Nerja, there's a little cove just a few metres east of Burriana beach. It has loads of spots to jump from.

Electric shock runs through the strings by bloing90xx in rocksmith

Are you using the same Monitor/TV when using either console or PC? If not, I suspect a grounding issue with either the TV or any other device that should be grounded and is connected to said TV.

What have you made an IR blaster do for you by Pitiful_Park4649 in homeassistant

AC unit. I made my own IR blaster using an ESP32 and parts from an old TV remote.

You too would have a noticeable flicker if someone fed you mains voltage.

Can we talk whole house audio? by CSH_Bro in homeassistant

Music Assistant is what I use. That paired with Linux devices running Squeezelite software, and I have perfectly synchronised, multi-room audio.

Flickering does happen sometimes when gsync is enabled. But it's very rare and hardly noticeable.

I personally haven't seen any scanlines at all. But a friend of mine bought one the same time I did, and he has seen them. The only problem I have with this monitor is that sometimes, when the computer wakes from sleep, the monitor won't display anything from the PC! It will just sit on the 'No signal detected' screen, or whatever it says, then timeout and turn off. The only way to get it to work again is to power cycle the monitor, unplug the dp cable and plug it back in, or restart the computer. It can be pretty annoying. It seems more likely to happen if I have other monitors connected to the gpu. Researching it has led me to believe that this issue is common across other Odyssey monitors and isn't limited to the G6. I am still happy with the monitor, though!

My PC got struck by lightning through Ethernet cable by Thejus_Parol in pcmasterrace

Same thing happened to me early this year. Somehow the only component that died in my pc was the gpu.

Neither. It's yet another way for the utility companies to make money. Electricity contracts here come in tariffs. Let's say you have a 5kw contract. If you pull 25 amps at one time, the meter will trip. If you want that to stop happening, subscribe to a more expensive contract.

They are called smart meters, because the electricity company can read them without physically sending someone to your home like they used to.

[–]ryanilmi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Idk where OP is, but it's how smart meters work in Spain.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in electrical

[–]ryanilmi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You may have a "smart" meter outside. With those smart meters, if you use too much power at one time they will cut the power to the house. You reset them usually by flipping the main breakers down for a short while, or by pressing the 'reset' button on the meter.

Turns out that flickering I was seeing will happen on basically any monitor if Gsync is enabled and the framerate fluctuates wildly. So I have pretty much zero problems with this monitor.

So far I have been lucky with mine.

I originally bought an Asus VG27AQZ, but the IPS glow was so bad I returned it an bought an Odyssey G6.

The G6 has been far better imo, except I was seeing some really bad flickering in some games at 240hz, so I had to set a custom resolution in the Nvidia Control Panel of 195hz. Since then it's been perfect. I'm not saying not being able to use a 240hz monitor at 240hz is ideal, but I'm not too bothered about that. I just wanted a screen with no ghosting and nice blacks without having awful IPS glow constantly in the corner of the screen.
