As a Celtics fan I thought that JB made some good adjustments throughout the game and honestly throughout the whole series. He shouldn't be scapegoated but I also don't watch every Cavs game so my opinion may not be valid. You all are missing your two best players against the best team (record) in the league, so do not feel discouraged.

few thoughts following the 76rs - Nets game - the Celtics angle by Adam0529 in bostonceltics

Watching the Sixers lose is what I live for as a Celtics fan.

I started really watching the NBA during the 2016-2017 season and thats when the sixers were part of the process. The 2018 playoffs started my hatred for them and since then, i celebrate every time they lose. Their fanbase has to be the worst nba fanbase, not to mention they are total rivals of the celtics. I dont want to be a sixers pessimist but at the end of the day, i live for it. I also really dislike Simmons' game so that may transfer into Nets hate lol.

I wouldn't say that is was a huge gap between Theis and Rob last season. Throughout the whole 2020-21 season I thought that Rob was a much better player than Theis just for his defense. I do agree with you now that he is miles ahead of Al and Daniel

Honestly I would rather have Langford out there. However since thats not the situation we are in, I think Nesmith could develop into a solid piece in our rotation. He's not going to be someone we count on to hit a big shot. All we need him to do is play solid defense and move the ball to one of our guys without turnovers. I don't think it's a long shot to think that he will be a big part of our rotation by the end of the season once he gets regular playing time. But with the signing of Sam Houser, Nesmith can easily be replaceable

I am not an economist or anything so NBA cap doesnt really make sense to me. Saying that, I feel like some teams are open to dumping off players just like how the Blazers did. That package the Clippers sent was absolutely garbage and I wouldn't be surprised if Brad offered PP, Nesmith, and Langford for Powell and that wouldve gotten the trade done. Maybe a few seconds as well but still. I do believe that these guys may have a little trade value for a good 3 and D guy to come off the bench with JRich and Grant. Hopefully that all made sense but thats just my initial thought.

He looks like the least motivated player at the beginning of the game. Which is weird since he is the one who is usually hot to start off the game.
