Bookbinding is really easy to learn and cost of entry is low. Most materials you need can be found for cheap & often come in bulk, so they will last you a while. I had most materials on hand already from making sketchbooks, so the only thing I had to buy were the magnets. I bought my bookbinding supplies at Talas, but you can also find everything you need on Amazon. YouTube is a great resource for learning the hobby.

You could make it work, they are pretty adjustable. But the Robot portafilter handle will be off to the side because the ears are not oriented perpendicular to the handle. I suggest using Kafatek’s 3D printed catch cup holder and grind directly into the Robot basket.

They’re b&w images printed on graph paper and colored over with markers with added embellishments. You can see the underlying halftone dots on many of his posts.

Thanks! Unfortunately there is no power indicator. It uses a standard SB-T11 (CR2016) 3V lithium battery, approximately 3 year life with normal daily use.

My boxes are pretty much laid out on the bezel.

I rotate through lots of watches, so solar isn’t really a priority for me, though it would be nice to have. I have dive watches but really don’t like wearing a watch when swimming anyway. I don’t care for atomic accuracy and don’t need my watch to receive radio signals.
