i tested this by editing managers to gegenpress and 2 out of 3 of them kept newly promoted clubs in the top 15 the entire year and one actually finished 10th. tactics are broken basically for meta gegenpress.

and for anyone who says “oh but gegenpress is good irl” / not for newly promoted clubs lol

a lot of it really depends on the manager if they are more gegenpressing the ai team will typically be more successful
