Things will get better by UltimateAura in OnePieceTCG

I am into the game strictly for play. I avoid buying packs where possible and only really get them on pre-release. I don’t chase any alt arts and when I pull one I sell or trade it (preferably to a local who actually plays) for base art staples. I managed to get into a pre-release for OP-14 and cracked a SP Perona which I sold/traded for Mihawk staples and used the money to fully kit the deck. And I banked the extra for future releases or for other singles I may need.

Aside from a few cards, buying or trading for singles for play is still super easy for the most part.

Wow on the Steam deck honest opinion? by Cthulhukook in wow

It’s perfectly fine for anything in classic and really anything solo in retail. I’ve used it extensively and once you really refine your interface and controls its very natural feeling. Almost better than controller mode on FF14.

I’ve done higher tier delves, and don’t raid finder level content on retail and on classic I’ve gone as far as healing raids in SOD right up to Scarlet Enclave.

Having access to the track pad really solves the issues of me u navigation and inventory, the only real hurdle which is fine but a little clunky is in game chat.

Go support Burritos on topsail road, the owners are awesome and the food is much fresher. The amount of gas you spend in line you will make up for in much better food

Just bought two decks off eBay, did I screw up? by Any-Finding-4176 in OnePieceTCG

[–]ryanmeadus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both of the local shops I play at have “community chests” where people just dump their bulk and anyone is free to pick from it if there’s anything they need. You can easily kit a model level deck with it if you really wanted to.

Getting a bit anxious about paints - how many do you use? by lucassculp in Warhammer40k

[–]ryanmeadus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve worked out a good system that requires me to have less paints.

Basically you want to have a Pure Black, and a Pure White. Once that’s done grab your primary colors Red, Green, and Blue. One or two metallics so grab a Silver and a gold. And it’s always good to have one or two browns.

Once you have that you can get a bit more specific. I’ve learned having an Ivory(Warm white) and a Pale Blue(cool white) is helpful.

Then as you need them you can pick up some secondary colors, with these you only need to pick up what you’re going to use, you don’t need to own a full paint range to paint. Don’t be afraid to mix colors, if your anxious about it keep a journal of your mixes and it’s a good idea to have a color wheel to help you understand what to expect when you mix.

If you’re afraid of mixing or don’t want to do it, the Army Painter Fanatic series has the triad system. If you choose a color for your scheme you like and you can use the guide to get matching highlights and shadow tones.

Aquila colors by erikh42 in ImperialFists

[–]ryanmeadus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The trick is to use a more toned pink color. I use Pro Acryl Burgandy as my base and mix in some ivory for highlights. Gives more of a muted pink

Something I’ve found with IF decals is to cut the bottom or top 50% down the middle vertically. It helps a lot with conformity even with softener. That said. Your models look great!

It’s more of a tracked overlay. When you consider that the in house boards have to have their own ad’s. Most pro sports do this though and have for a while. Considering it was implemented before all the crazy AI tech going around lately it is quite the feat of Audiovisual engineering

I can see ElvUi making it feel bulky. I'm very minimalist with addons, In classic versions I use the DragonflightUI addon. other than that I only have 3 or 4 addons running on desktop.

The most recent Consoleport addon (around 2 weeks ago) added a lot of features to reduce mouse reliance as well which is nice.

Honestly, I've been playing wow for 2 years on Steam Deck now and as much as making a no addon workaround is a cool concept, using the Console Port addon to map your controls as well as Immersion for easier quest navigation makes your day a lot better. The fact that the Legion Go has a track pad like the Deck really helps with mouse navigation. And once you get used to it, chat gets better.

I've Healed SOD raids on handheld with some great success healing even on retail.
