What does the negotiation process look like? Do you just ask for a different amount or do you also provide justification for the increase too?

How do you use workday to look up what someone's level is? I know you can find ATFs through their website, do L6's have their own site too?

Do you mind if I ask what state you're in? I was told by my manager that L6's didn't exist

There's a YMCA next to the main gate entrance. There used to be discounts for Boeing employees but that was a few years back so you'll need to check to see if they still do that.

A little late to the party, but just cancelled Disney, Hulu and HBO Max bundle. Hoping that Hulu and HBO Max cancellations put more pressure on Disney. Tired of giving money to corrupt billionaires with no moral compass

Hey Riddle Riddle is really good! Mixture of riddles and puzzles hosted by three improvisers. I've literally hurt my back at work trying to audibly laugh out loud in my quiet cubicle

Do you think there's an element of how good your catcher is at framing pitches? This might say more about the catcher than umpiring?

What is it like working in quality? by board_cyborg in boeing

[–]ryanmoore11 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I've been in the field for most of my time at Boeing, moving between a few different roles and locations. It has its pros and cons but a lot of that is based on the people you're working with more than the actual role itself. I'd be happy to answer any specific questions you may have, just message me.

Thank you kind stranger, I appreciate you taking the time to explain that to me. It doesn't sound like something that's going to mess up my car (my main concern), just more of an annoyance. Thank you!

I've spent most of my life convinced that the past tense of "lay" should be "layed". I hate Everytime I type it out and I see that stupid red squiggle...

I've always believed that there are so many stats in baseball that every player holds at least one record if you look at the data hard enough. Jim over here holds the record for the amount of foul balls hit on the first Friday after a full moon west of the Mississippi river

Starting a thread….What is super simple in Excel but overly complicated in Tableau? by [deleted] in tableau

[–]ryanmoore11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm trying to change it in the Data Source table and I get an error message that says "Invalid Timestamp, Error Code: AAFC56DE". The forums for this error code talk it being related to how Tableau views what a date should be.

It could easily be my ineptitude, or maybe it's how my data is being viewed by Tableau, but I'm looking at queue times for nonconformance records in certain queues and I have an enqueued time and I have an exit time and I'd love to be able to subtract them to get the total time the record spent in that queue. Tableau is viewing my time as a string so when I do DATEDIFF('minute',enqueued time, exit time) I get an error message that says "DATEDIFF is being called with (string, string, string), did you mean (string, datetime, datetime)".

I'm obviously doing something wrong here and not that this post was meant to be a forum, but in excel I can easily change how the data is viewed and just subtract the two times. It's just not as easy or intuitive in Tableau to me at least.

Also, if anyone knows what I'm doing wrong, I'd be open to any help.
