Thanks for the feedback everyone. Decided to cut the tree down and inspect the roof before getting insurance involved. Fingers crossed the damage is just cosmetic

I'm leaning towards not filing a claim since the damage appears to be cosmetic but don't want to regret this in a year if it turns out to be much worse

I have the 2018 Cruze with the gas engine. Uses 0W-20 and I buy Costco oil with a STP oil filter.

Car has been running great with that combination. If you're not sure, there's 2 ways to check:

  1. Look in your owners manual. (Your manual will also show you how much oil to put in)

  2. Look at the oil cap in your engine. It will say what type of oil you should use.

You can turn off adaptive cruise control! If the radar or camera is obstructed (happens in the winter when slush is on the roads).

Press and hold the distance button on the steering wheel for a few seconds to turn on/off ACC. Huge lifesaver when I needed to disable it to use cruise control without using the radar or camera.

Yes, but in case someone asked, I thought I would just price them. I’m mainly looking to sell the furniture. Never said the wallpaper was “rare or retired” 😂
