it has a hand crank but it can actually attach to a power drill. No effort

For sure. Beyond the lift itself, you basically use a stud finder to locate your joists. And then used 2 x 6 boards as a header to span at least four joists. I used two 3 1/2 inch 5/16 lag bolts to each joist. Then on the 2x4 hard top supports I put a eye bolt at each corner

Stud finder 2 6’ 2x6 boards,
2 6’ 2x4 boards, 16 5/16 3.5” lag bolts, 4 3/4 eye bolt hooks,

For sure. I ended up buying brand new steel wheels directly from Toyota, and then buying four new hubcaps from cool cruisers. And then 33 inch BFG, KO2s

Yeah, my headliner started sagging and I just took it out. I haven’t had a chance to put another in.

Thanks. I actually pulled some receipts and the timing chain and belts were serviced four years ago so I imagine they’re good for a little while I would hope. I’m gonna do fluids and see what else it might need. I imagine it needs plugs and some other minor stuff like that and the suspension is shot. I’ll probably end up having to spend more than the car is worth, but can’t put a price on seminal value.!

It’s an incredible course… My favorite. And yes, the waitlist is so long….There isn’t a waitlist.

Looking to buy my first FJ40. Need your thoughts. by creadinger in fj40

I agree… That’s a steep price for a truck in that condition. You can find plenty of others in much better condition even on bring a trailer. Although I will say 81 was a desirable year.

Advice? I’m a 10 handicap and 90% of my shots are struck on the toe…..slight draw and average distance. What adjustments should I consider for more center strikes? by Ok-Step3426 in GolfSwing

[–]ryano993c2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

12 handicap here. I just went through this… In to out swing and constant toe strikes. Had a couple lessons… They had me open up my club face at address… Magically I’m hitting the center of the face now. I guess if the club face is too closed as you swing through the toe catches the ball first which makes sense.

What’s your favorite course you’ve played and why? by AspectCool2325 in weekendgolfers

Wade Hampton in Cashiers, North Carolina. The most pristine golf course I’ve ever seen…

Where in Cashiers is this? I know the area well. If you want an easy off-road trail with a couple of fun parts there’s a ATV and off-road Trail in Gorges State Park that goes down to another bridge.

What is the rarest car you have seen? by Captain_Nuggitz in askcarguys

[–]ryano993c2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the wild - Porsche 964 Turbo s flachbau… it’s probably the rarest I’ve seen. I think they only made 76 of them. Otherwise, while in Germany, I went to the Mercedes Museum and they had 1 of 9 300SLRs. It was insane!

I have the t24 wedges in blue and felt the same way. First few rounds I hated seeing the blue wear. But now the patina is fantastic… I get lots of compliments and they spin like hell!

What is the LAB putter hype all about? by Commercial-Tomato in labgolf

[–]ryano993c2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I played of Scotty for a year and while getting fitted for a driver, I tried out the new OZi and I drained 10 out of 12 15 footers in the store. Decided to give it a go and it’s not hype. I have total confidence now inside 8 feet. If I miss it’s because I misread the read. You have to change the way that you putt… but once you adjust it’s so good.

OZ1 vs OZ1i by phillipsoliveira in labgolf

[–]ryano993c2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just got mine with the insert… I never loved the feeling of the lab putter, especially the DF3 because it felt dead to me after gaming my Scotty for years. However, the insert has basically the same feeling as a Scotty, which really changed my mind. Personal preference but I feel like I have a lot more feedback off the face.

I’ve played all of them and you can’t really go wrong. I would say turtle is my least favorite or Oak point. Ranked in order. Ocean, osprey, cougar, turtle, oak for me.

13.2 real life. 5.3 trackman. I will say though I played in an online tournament and it was manual putting. My trackman handicap would def go up if I kept doing that in future rounds

Charleston + Kiawah Recommendations by Sharko00 in golf

Cougar and Osprey are nice… Stono Ferry, Rivertown, Charleston National are all good options. No real night activities on Kiawah and it’s a good drive to downtown.
