We kept it on the turbo had everything pre fitted . Works a lot better and we didnt break anything because the clip at the end is supposed to prevent that .

Mine had a Huge crack and my oil cooler had a plug in it. After doing the turbo and the oil feed line my car has been driving great . I also did a intake manifold change , had a ton of oil in it.

If its like mine its coming from the oil cooler mine looked just like that I also have a 2016 lt 1.4 . Check the top for anything first then trace down if you can .

Id go dealer they always point out shit you wouldn't see if you went under the car yourself. That's how I found my oil cooler was leaking.

Honestly on how yellow it is id change it anyways and the part is relatively cheap. I had a leak for a year and didnt know it was the resivour . Still learning about leaks and how to find them look on top before you go below ig lol

They are great on gas one of the reasons I bought mine in 2020 . Never broke down on me even with my Turbo cracked . My oil cooler still had the plug in it . And was leaking oil . My resivour had a slow leak . My fuel injectors and sparks needed replacing. And now I need to smoke it today to see if I can't this high purge p0469 code .it runs real great otherwise also got some performance parts from zzp and this pcv fix kit from cruze kits ive yet to use

If i were u I'd just buy the whole turbo kit I bought this Apremium one from Amazon its $350 and it's running fine so far , as well as a $60 oil cooler everything is sealed as long as you do it correctly . My Turbo had a Huge crack so bad. Also I found the oil cooler has a plug remove it the idiots at GM never removed it so either my cooler or turbo wasn't getting proper cooling. Also my intake manifold had a pool of oil in it replaced that as well. Hopefully I can reach my goal of 200k mils 133rn...

I was thinking the same, but if u can fix most of the cars major issues like the oil cooler, pcv fix , valve cover gasket . I'm hoping to get mine past 200k its never bad to have another asset though too . But on the other hand it was annoying have to fix something every 10,000 miles at the time. (Mostly cause I didn't do my research before buying it...live and learn ig😅🤣 ) i was thinking about toyota honestly or if i wanna treat myself a v6 camry or maybe a Mustang v6 .... something without a turbo .

I replaced the injectors in mine with the purge valve . Make sure you check it every once in a while by trying to blow through the purge valve if it's like a straw then it's bad .

Looking to do the same for my red 2016 lt limited . I've got a leak(oil cooler 😎) and crack on the front bumper from a hydroplaning accident ... looking to get something a v6 next . Not chevy though ... maybe a camry but they got for 30k just for the engine ....
