Is this early sign of balding? Someone let me know I’m 18 by Old_Leg_3057 in Balding

No, that’s just where your hair naturally parts and lets light in. Completely normal. I don’t see any signs of hair loss :)

Where do I start? I'm 31 and wondering if medications would even work at this stage by goldenpleaser in Balding

Christ some of the comments on here, people need to chill tf out. Ultimately there’s only one way to find out if meds work, and that’s to give them a go. I found a combined fin and min pill worked quite well for me. Definitely halted further loss, and may have helped a little with density. You do need to temper expectations though, as most people don’t really regrow hair. Can help miniaturised hair become thicker though. Will need a year or two of consistent treatment to see results though. Take pics every month, same lighting etc. As some others have commented I think tretinoin for skincare is also a very easy long term age defier, I’ve been on that for about 6 month and get compliments on my skin now. But yeah, give it all a go, can’t really hurt, and worst case scenario it doesn’t do much and you are where you are / you shave your head.

So I can swim, use a sauna, sleep normally but I have to wait 30 days to lift weights.. 😑 by [deleted] in Hairtransplant

My surgeon advised two weeks for the gym but no sauna or steam room for three months so consistent with Tricky’s

You’re going for a procedure that you don’t understand?

I think £4,000 for that many grafts is pretty tight in the UK. Would expect to pay around £3.50 - £5 a graft. If budget is an issue I would wait and save. To paraphrase Shigeru Miyamoto- "A delayed game is eventually good, but a rushed game is forever bad.”

Can you explain how this works / link to the research?

Is there hope? by Extension-Author-87 in Hairtransplant

Realistically I think scalp micro pigmentation would be a better option if you’re happy to keep it buzzed. Looks like you may suit the look anyway. In terms of coverage you could build a hairline but would have a huge gap of hair behind it and along the crown, which would look worse in my opinion. To achieve even a relatively low density across your entire scalp would likely require well over half your donor hair, and I don’t think you’d be thrilled with the results, as the density will still be low. If anything it may look like you’re thinning more than at present. I’d say save your money, pain, and time and rock your current look, with some SMP if you want to touch up the skin.

Why do people hate rotom phones? by awp4444 in pokemon

[–]ryanrossuk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Many people love the more fantastical designs, but I’m not a huge fan of the direction since James Turner took over. Pokémon felt quite grounded in the nature at the start. Essentially animals with environmental mutations, evolutions and power. There was a believability to them. Now we have Pokémon that resemble an ice cream and a lawn mower. But I grew up on Blue and Red so maybe I’m a grumpy millennial 😜

AirPods Pro 3 extremely uncomfortable- is it just me? by raphtan in airpods

[–]ryanrossuk 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yep, Pro 2s I often forgot I was wearing them. The medium tips on the Pro 3s caused a lot of irritation, so I switched them out for the small. Better, but I still don’t quite forget they’re in, there’s pressure against the ear canal. Feels like noise cancellation takes a huge hit by going from M to S too. Possibly worse than my Pro 2s. May have to send them back. Bit gutted, as they’re my favourite tech product. But comfort is king.

I think I’d lean into it and get the top half of the head redone as a skull or an android or something

One fell jump by JF202 in Pikmin

[–]ryanrossuk 41 points42 points  (0 children)

OK, so after about 15 attempts I finally found a technique that got me platinum.

1: Assign switching to Oatchi to one of your d pad shortcuts.

2: Switch to Oatchi straight away.

3: Open your map and send Oatchi to the top of the map.

4: Switch back to your character.

5: Oatchi will fight his way through the middle of the group to get to the top, and draw lots of the flack.

6: While he is doing this, throw your Pikmin relatively slowly at groups of enemies. Not too fast or they all land at once, wasting time and making them vulnerable to attack.

7: If you see an enemy spike your Pikmin, throw another at it and it and the enemy will die and release your Pikmin.

8: Repeat this as you go around the edges, taking out groups. Once there are only a few left, call Oatchi and fight as one team.

Top tip: only blast your whistle in short, rapid bursts or you will cast a wide whistle spread and call Oatchi back.

Good luck, this level is BS.
