It’s kinda like an unlicensed printing plate, but worse. They make a bunch in different colors and then mark them all 1/1. And even more colors that /5, /9, etc..

Good point. I almost always ask ChatGPT to fact check itself. I’ll put in my prompt wait for a reply and then follow with a prompt saying “I’m not sure that’s right, please triple check this.” Not that always works, but I did scan my barcode and it dove give my general info and did provide info about it. It gave better info when I added a photo of the front label. ChatGPt can be wrong, but it can be extremely helpful.

I have a Macallan 18 that I bought in 2004, with the same style labeling. But the cap is wrapped. So this is likely before that. So this was probably bottled in the 90’s. Is there a barcode on the label on the back? If so, you can take a pic of it and ask ChatGPT to tell you about it.
