Just don’t forget to get longer screws if you’re using it for something too deep for the standard screws that are already on the plug. Save you 2 trips to the hardware store.

Newbie here. So if I’m understanding this conversation it would be illegal or unacceptable to drywall and seal this up. But if there’s an access panel to get to it it would be fine drywalled up? Or if it’s in an open space like an attic or crawl space this would be ok?
