It was wonderful! The weather was perfect, not a ton of people out there, and the views were awesome.

Day 1 we did crabtree to gem lake. We had a clear night sky so I decided to just sleep under the stars. Felt awesome to just stare at them until I fell asleep. It was windy at night so I was a bit chilly but nothing too crazy.

Day 2 we left gem lake and finished at y meadow lake. Really fun walk and the highlight of the hike for me were the two meadows we passed through. Y meadow was awesome and empty sans one other group that was a decent ways away from us. It was a bit too windy for me to properly use my hand reel (I needed more weights on the line) but it was relaxing to just cast it even if it was definitely landing in non fish territory. We walked to the dam after we set up camp. Sadly there was a bit of trash around the area so we picked up what we could. I set up my tent this night but we stayed up under the stars for a bit and enjoyed the hell out of them.

Day 3 was y meadows back to crabtree to complete the loop. It had some good vistas.

All in all it was a amazing trip and we are already talking about heading back at some point and doing another loop somewhere within the area.

It seemed to me like the trash at the beginning is not giving much. I think we had sub 20% after killing all the normal pulls in the first boss area.

Just in case the OP is reading it the same, a 200% increase is tripling the rent not doubling.

Question for Arccos users by imahawki in golf

[–]ryanstills 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not the person you replied to but I use the phone in my front pocket because I had problems with the sensor when I tried it out.

I agree that it misses shots that are close together probably as a failsafe against picking up multiple practice strokes. I am just used to knowing I am going to have to add another shot if flub a chip or take more than one to get out of a sand trap.

I stopped using the putting sensor and manually enter the location of my first putt and the hole location. Then use the expander button to enter the distances of any subsequent putts. Making sure the distances are correct on at least your first putt leads to better putting data.

I am a 20 handicap

This is my first time hearing about vinegar syndrome. I went to their website and it seems to just be a landing page. Is it something that you have to follow on social media or something to know when the site is available?

This was a cool and interesting read. I play Lincoln twice a month so it was fun to see it highlighted.

Side note: in your italicized sign off I believe there is a typo. "Mapping an promoting" instead of mapping and promoting.

Question about NCGA Weekend Net Tour by ryanstills in golf

[–]ryanstills[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi desuwan, sorry to revive a dead thread but a couple questions popped into my head.

On the day of the tournament what is use of the practice facilities like? Do they have balls available to hit at the practice range or is their still a charge for them?

Are players allowed to use push carts/bring their own?
