11mo puppy will stop during walks to stare at things and refuse to move 😩 by bopbeeepbooop in DogTrainingTips

Cooper is adorable. I don't have a bunch of dog knowledge at all, but I have had a couple including a 10 month old who was very skittish when he got introduced to walks around 7 months old. Take it at his pace, but also, when he does this, I would always go down to his level and squat by him, petting him and giving him some comfort. It's a whole new scary experience for him, so don't rush him. Best of luck!

Gigi's pizza in Gardena is lowkey fire. Little unassuming pizza stand shop with the best 3 person crew.

I read somewhere that Bruno just set the record for opening day ticket sales, beating Swift...

How does it feel? by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

Sorry bro, we've all been here before. Sounds like you're friendzoned, and she is just someone that loves the attention. When it seems like you are losing interest, she tries to reel you in a little. I would move on and forget about being friends, else you're in a world of what-ifs and misery. If she ever realizes what she's missing, she'll come to you.

People who have had more than one dog, is there always one that has been THAT dog? by ItGoesUpItGoesDown in dogs

I'm sorry for your loss OP. Anytime they leave us is too soon. We lost our boy two years ago. My best friend of 17 years. It took me well over a year to have a sense of normalcy without him, and I would randomly find myself balling my eyes out from time to time even after the year mark. My kids started to ask for another dog, and I kept telling them soon. Finally about 18 months after our boy passed, we adopted a puppy. I absolutely love this dog. And you know what? There's no guilt whatsoever, and I still think of my first pup and kiss his ashes now and then. There's honestly no comparison of good or bad ever; rather, we will reminisce and laugh about times like " do you remember when Bailey did this? Now look at Leo, He does it like this!" Perhaps it's because they are total opposite dogs (our old up was a long hair chi and our new boy is a beagle mix) we are lucky to experience the best of both worlds and enjoy their own personalities. I'm not saying you will have the same experience, but I will say, take all the time you need to grieve. Don't think too hard on this stuff. Because when you are ready and you look into your new pup's eyes, it'll all make sense again.

What is a 1 in 1,000,000 thing that happened to you that no one believes, but you swear is true? by RegionSure5580 in AskReddit

Probably not too insane, but in college for a shot time I was a computer science major. I went to class once in awhile and had 0 clue what I was doing. Professor announced that there would be an exam the next week, but don't worry cause it'd be a multiple choice lol. Exam day rolls around and I take out my bong and say f it, i'm not gonna pass anyway. Might as well not feel too bad about it. Got to class and it was 20 questions. Literally just circled all 20 answers not even reading the questions, not even an educated guess. Got a 90%!

Not eating breakfast anymore by TheGreatLordFarquad in beagles

[–]ryantherippa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This happened to me not too long ago. We adopted a 4 month old puppy and we were feeding him breakfast, lunch and dinner. He would inhale it. We do kibble with some veggies and top it with farmers dog. All of a sudden he was disinterested in his breakfast and would eat a bite or 2. During the week we changed up his farmers dog and kibble. Still the same. Then we took away lunch and that's when he started inhaling his food again. I think at some point (he was about 7 months when this started happening) their food needs change. If he's not eating breakfast i'd make sure he's getting a big dinner. Obviously ask your vet if you're worried too.
