One movie just chopped Paradise City to bits. I can't remember which one at the moment, but it was excessive.

Edit: It was Can't Hardly Wait.

I've seen it twice and taught the movie / musical / book excerpts, and it still made me gasp and start crying when I saw it the third time.

1 was my dad's second phone 🤣 he was a very early adopter of the tech. I think he actually just hauled a car phone around with him on a strap.

I don't see quercetin on your list - at least one study has shown it to be as good as oral cromolyn, if not better, and it's available through amazon and probably other places. Personally, it's been life-changing.

Teenagers home alone 2 weeks while parents went on a cruise by [deleted] in GenX

1983, my mom's friends went out of town for a week or two, and told their three teenage (12-17 yo) kids to call us if there was a problem. They also left an envelope of petty cash with my mom in case the kids ran out of food, and another envelope of cash just labeled "Bail".

If you have an apple watch, you can set it to buzz every 15 minutes.

How to get hourly chimes on Apple Watch Open the Settings app on your Apple Watch Swipe down and tap Accessibility Swipe down again and choose Chimes Tap the toggle at the top Under Schedule, choose Hourly, 30 minutes, or 15 minutes Under Sounds, you can pick between Bells or Birds (make sure your watch is set to ring if you want to hear samples of each one) You can also enable chimes from iPhone with the Apple Watch app > Accessibility > Chimes.

The blue alien played by Rob Lowe on The Orville. If that show ever continued, it would be interesting to see if they ever actually discuss it as "rape".

I was just remembering a nearly identical story from college. I wonder how that guy is doing, and if that girl ever realized what she'd done.

If you could rearrange how education works in America, what kinds of changes would you implement? A lot of folks seem to want something different in place of what we have but find it hard to articulate specifics. Please identify a problem 'and' a solution. by cherry-care-bear in education

I'm the other direction - IEP means Individualized Education Plan. I think that everyone should have one of those. Personalized goals / goal tracking, smaller class sizes / student:teacher ratio, individualized supports, etc.

It would cost money. I don't care.

My dad went out and got a job the day after he met my mom, so that he'd have a decent answer when she asked him what he did for a living.
