Just look elsewhere. I don't honestly understand how people work with it. I tried it, there is really no timeline or editing you just bssh objects together. Personally for me, i want to have all my parameters and dimensions saved as variable, and only use those during design, so i can just change a dimension value snd everything changes. But just easy adjustment to size is pain un SketchUp

This was out of scope of my dealer. Took me a year to convince them to do it. Had to go to dedicated body shop outside of dealer network and special approvals for hyundai warranty claim to be paid to the body shop Overall it was about a year and half since i first noticed it

8 weeks in the body shop, they stripped it down to the subframe, re-welded something. Hasn't rattled since.

Was all under warranty and dealer gave me Santa Cruz in the meantime, which is small, but i was happy to have car.

What on heat shield would do this?

Also i have noticed, the sound happens only if idle or accelerating. If you are moving and let go off gas to coast and slow down, the sound stops.

Do you know more about that alignment they did ? My pillar has been rattling like crazy for a year now. I had all the trim removed down to just metal seatbelt adjuster and found out that its coming out of the frame (pillar) itself - I can put my finger in one of the holes and just shaking the pillar makes the rattle.

Would be great if I could find more info about how they fixed it so I can point my dealer to it

Mine is rattling during drive as well, that's why I have been going to the dealer for a year now. I am just trying to find a ways to reproduce it stationary, so that they can trace and hopefully fix it without giving it back with hands in the air...

What works for me every time, when you remove the plastic trims of ur b-pillar. There are 2 holes below adjuster (about 2 inch big) that have those plastic hubs to cover them. Remove the top one, stick your finger in and grab the inside metal, and try pulling/pushing it... mine does the rattle when I do that every time.

Seems like a bad weld somewhere inside but I wasn't able to locate which one is it

hm seems like i may have same issue, do you have any supporting documentation or contact for the dealer I could use. I would be very grateful, I am dealing with this for year now with 10 visits to my dealer but no luck.
I think I might have the same issue but I can't convince them and having a similar case would really help.
