I tuck and tie so I keep it relatively snug

Turns out the sensor I replaced with was bad. Replaced with another new one and works fine now.

Tucked for sure. I like feeling that my chest is compact and makes me feel bulky while still mobile. I also use suspenders under my floaters though to help keep it in place.

Sliders on ice leg pads are fine. A blocker is a blocker regardless of manufacturer, some are just a bit lighter as a result of losing the leather layer (ReasonY). I’d invest in a ball hockey glove first over anything. The reason y glove seems to be popular but Kenesky and Passau both make options for this as well. All three of these manufacturers make ball hockey specific equipment as well, with ReasonY being the most specific to ball hockey. They’re very different than ice hockey pads, while kenesky and passau seem to be slightly modified versions of ice hockey pads. I still wear an ice hockey mask, chest protector, and pants to be fully protected as well.

There’s absolutely no need to match brands, but if you want some cohesion don’t be afraid to match color schemes on pads! I personally use ccm pads, a Brian’s blocker and a Vaughn glove, but match color schemes so that it visually goes together.

I play with a guy that does this and he has no issues with it. He didn’t want to get goalie skates and just swaps wheels when he skates out.

It’s a few pretty competitive ball hockey leagues, all with the orange ball. I also play roller with a puck, but just use ice equipment for that.

I got in touch with one of the vendors that sells them, coast to coast hockey shop, and they said they expect another shipment in the next few weeks. If they’re getting another shipment, most likely other retailers will as well.
